For example, last year, MediaTek and vivo had some cooperation on the open architecture of the Tianji series and applied it to X70 products. The open architecture of Tianji allows terminals or third parties to fully explore the potential of Tianji's flagship platform, including AI, photography, games and so on. The X80 series has added an AI-ISP open architecture interface to the recording link this time, so that vivo's AI algorithm can achieve some AI functions with lower power consumption and better effects, such as better recording experience such as extremely dark night recording.
The in-depth joint adjustment between vivo and MediaTek has fully released the hardware performance of the Tianji 9000 platform. Asked if MediaTek's MiraVision video processing capabilities could coexist with the V1, Junnan Li, director of technology planning for MediaTek's Wireless Communications Division, said MiraVision contains two important types of features: display technology and video enhancement. The Tianji 9000 can provide all-scene HDR display enhancements, including game PQ (Picture Quality), hdR enhancement effects in game scenarios, and video AI SDR to HDR display enhancements. The feature dynamically adjusts color, sharpness and high dynamic range to deliver more vivid graphics for an immersive viewing and gaming experience. The interpolation function with V1+ games brings an increase in smoothness and gives consumers a more complete gaming experience.
In addition, the entire industry is currently facing the problem of lack of cores, so the production capacity of Tianji 9000 is also the focus of attention from the outside world. MediaTek officials said in an interview that despite the pressure of the epidemic, MediaTek has a very detailed and long-term plan for the production capacity of Tianji 9000, and there is no problem at the current capacity level.
The official also said that from the current overall market feedback, including industry feedback or user feedback, Tianji 9000 is a preliminary achievement of MediaTek's internal expectations.
