On April 27, Beijing time, the 2021-22 NBA playoffs continued. Earlier today, the NBA officially announced that Bucks player Juil Holliday won the 2021-22 Best Teammate Award, and his opponents included deRozan of the Bulls and Paul of the Suns.
The Best Teammate Award is voted for by NBA players to recognize players who have performed selflessly on and off the court to lead the team forward. It is worth mentioning that Holliday was elected to this award when he played for the Pelicans in the 2019-20 season, which is the second time in his career that he has won this award!
The Bucks briefly congratulated Holliday on the training ground, and coach Budenholzer brought the Bucks players together before announcing that the winner of the NBA Best Teammate Award this season was Holliday. After learning this news, the Bucks players gave Holliday applause, and then everyone shouted the Bucks cheering slogan together.
According to statistics, Holliday scored a total of 964 points in the voting, second-placed Boban-Majanovich scored 936 points, third-placed DeRozan scored 898 points, fourth-placed Jeff Green scored 728 points, and fifth-place Paul scored 664 points. The stars in 6th-12th place are Haslem, VanVleet, Love, Iguodala, Grant Williams, Gay and Jalen Jackson.
In the playoffs this season, Holliday averaged 36 minutes per game, was able to have 18 points, 5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1 steal, shooting 43.3% from the field and 40.9% from three-point range.
