Tokayev said: Kazakhstan and China are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. Over the past 30 years, Kazakhstan and China have become permanent comprehensive strategic partners, and the two countries have maintained a high level of cooperation in the international political arena, and cooperation in various fields has achieved remarkable results. In recent years, I have frequently interacted with President Xi Jinping, which has brought strong impetus to bilateral relations, and I believe that the relations between the two countries will achieve greater breakthroughs and achievements. The Kazakh side attaches great importance to cooperation between the two countries in the military field and hopes that the two militaries will continue to strengthen pragmatic cooperation in peacekeeping operations, joint exercises, personnel training, military technology and other fields.
Wei Fenghe said: Your Excellency the President is an old friend of the Chinese people and has made outstanding contributions to the establishment and development of the permanent comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kazakhstan, and under the guidance of the strategy of the two heads of state, bilateral relations have maintained a vigorous momentum of vigorous development, and the future prospects are very bright, becoming a model of good-neighborliness, friendship, mutual benefit and win-win results. China resolutely opposes the deliberate instigation of "color revolutions" by external forces in Kazakhstan and supports Kazakhstan in taking effective measures to safeguard national security and social stability. We must be vigilant against some major powers interfering in Central Asia and interfering with and undermining security in Central Asia. This visit reflects the great importance and firm support that China attaches to Kazakhstan, and no matter what kind of risks and challenges it encounters, China and Kazakhstan will jointly maintain regional stability and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and Kazakh militaries in various fields have been fruitful, and the Chinese armed forces are willing to continue to expand the fields of cooperation with kazakhstan and promote the in-depth development of bilateral military relations.
On the same day, Kazakh Defense Minister Zakseretkov held a welcoming ceremony for Wei Fenghe and held formal talks. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the international and regional security situation, the situation in Ukraine, and the Afghan issue, and agreed that the two militaries would continue to strengthen strategic communication, do a good job in joint exercises, and carry out practical cooperation.
