Fang Langlang, born in Hangzhou in 1992, graduated from the Animation College of Zhejiang University of Communication and Communications with a 2011 degree in animation.
He is a native of Qiandao Lake, and when he was a child, an uncle from a neighbor's family liked to paint oil, and he would sometimes carry his own small bench to watch, which may be the enlightenment of his later artistic career.
I really got into bond with sand painting because of the graduation project of the university. In 2014, Fang Langlang, a senior, was facing the graduation project, and his mentor suddenly gave him a tricky problem - sand painting.
"It was a bit overwhelming at first. When I was most distressed, I just drew a little and wanted to run back to the dormitory. In this way, after staying up for three months and painting thousands of sand paintings, the elaborate work "Fish People" not only allowed Fang Langlang to successfully graduate, but also won unanimous praise from the defending teachers.
More importantly, he began to teach himself sand painting and mastered this particular non-professional skill.
Sand painting, which originated in China, is said to be the inspiration obtained by Zhang Yuxian's predecessors from the "cloisonné", and then created a unique handicraft.

After Graduating, Fang Langlang entered a film and television company, but sand painting is a minority after all, so it has caused a lot of losses to this for-profit company. He felt embarrassed, so he left the company and went to work part-time in animation.
Doing animation work, so that the income on hand is indeed enough for their own expenses, but time is spent on work, what about sand painting? Fang Langlang was also very confused at that time: Do you want to continue to paint?
After a few days of tossing and turning, fang Langlang decided to make sand painting a career! After that, he submitted his resignation and pulled up a friend and brother to set up a sand painting studio.
Combining professional and sand painting, sand painting animation is completed in one shot.
However, as a post-90s generation who graduated recently, Fang Langlang has neither financial support nor human support, and the operation of the studio has difficulties in all aspects.
In the first few months, I could only barely receive a few orders. However, the only advantage is that the cost of sand painting is extremely low, unlike oil painting, which requires constant purchase of paint and new stone materials for carving, sand can be reused, which reduces a lot of pressure on the operation of the studio.
With a calm and optimistic attitude, the high efficiency of about ten sand paintings a week, and the combination of sand painting animation and various classic film and television drama works after the 90s, Fang Langlang's career has gradually improved.

He presented the classic pictures of the Dream of the Red Chamber such as Bao Dai's reading together, Qingwen tearing fan, and Liu Grandma's entry into the Grand View Garden in the form of color sand paintings, and edited them into a video of 8 minutes and 57 seconds.
