I think it's not just something that consumers have to think about, I think the major manufacturers really have to think about it. Above is the car that the people really need.
For example, in my current situation, the economic conditions are very poor (the impact of the epidemic). But you need a car to walk, help with work, and hang out with your wife on weekends. There is no need for long distance road trips.
In this case, new energy vehicles are almost the best choice for me at present. Because the first thing to bear is to save money, really save a lot of money.
In the past, I used to drive Highlander, because the work demand often ran around, basically 3 days to add oil, basically 400 or so at a time. But now driving an electric car, basically full is less than 40 yuan. You can save thousands of dollars a month. This guy really wasn't bragging at all. And do not need maintenance, currently opened for a year and a half, about 6W more kilometers, no maintenance!
Many people say that this car will be finished when you drive until the battery does not work. But Highlander still has a salvage value. It's still worth selling it later.
This does make sense. There is no regulated used car market on the market at present, but I think at least, electric vehicles can meet my current needs. In the current situation, the only option I can make is an electric car. In the future, when the epidemic is over and my economic conditions become better, I may also add an mpv to meet the needs of family travel. But at least for now, this car is in line with my needs.

First, let's talk about why we chose this car.
First, of course, because there is no money, if I have money, I will definitely choose P7. The time of the choice was bydiring, BYDHan had not yet come out. It's also good to see Han now. Tesla is actually better, but it's expensive. In the hundreds of thousands of cars, there are only these few options.
Second, the space is large, I am 176cm, is a huge fat man. Having driven so many cars, only the Highlander was spacious enough for me to feel. So I actually feel very narrow in any car. Especially now, more than 100,000 electric vehicles are basically compact. It's really big to see the head. Qin, who has driven BYD for a while before, and Xiaopeng G3. Both cars are too narrow. I was eliminated a few months later. Aehan's space is not very large, but for hundreds of thousands of cars, it is relatively large,--- for me!
Third, based on the foundation of GAC, GAC is processed by Toyota. So there are Toyota shadows in all aspects of this car, such as buttons, rearview mirror adjustments and so on. There is also the brake throttle, which is not the hard feeling of the Ashkenazi, but the soft and comfortable feeling of the Japanese system, which is in line with my habits. (This is really a habit to come, many people like the German, American kind of throttle brakes, I am used to driving Japanese cars, so I am used to it.) Here in particular, there is really no good or bad distinction)
Secondly, let's talk about a few advantages of this car, and then I will talk about the disadvantages.
First, the advantage lies in the battery life. Many people complain that the battery life of electric vehicles is very virtual. Indeed it is. The car is positioned at 460km. In fact, if you drive at a high speed, if you drive to a speed of 120 km and maintain it, you can only drive at a speed of less than 30%. That is more than 300 km. If you drive about 100km, it is 20% off. 80-90km, it is 10% off.
In fact, I have already looked at this. Because you save money, you can only exchange time for money. Driving from Guangzhou to Maoming, only 50 yuan of electricity and 350 yuan of fuel, you can only endure ah!!
But then again, if you drive in the city, a 460km battery life is enough. Totally enough. And you can turn on the air conditioner indefinitely, even if you forget to turn off the fire at night.
By the way, I now feel that Musk is right. There is no need for electric vehicles to achieve a range of 1000km. Because the endurance is long, the car becomes heavier. And the charging time becomes longer. In fact, it is still the same, electric vehicles are not suitable for long-distance driving. It is more realistic to meet the current scene steadily. Compared with battery life, how to charge quickly is actually more useful.
Now every time you charge, the fast charge is about 50 minutes or so. Basically does not affect my use. And I found that driving eco mode in the city can basically drive up to 400km. It is indeed much better than Xiaopeng.
Second, the function is very practical. I am very disgusted with the current domestic car-making forces. Because there are too many boring features.
For example, before the Xiaopeng G3, there is a speech recognition that is done very well. It is: you shout in the car: Hello little p, XXXXXX (command). Then it's done. But this function is limited to showing the first time to the person getting on the car, voice control window, voice opening the tailgate and so on. If it is three sisters and six wives, they will exclaim that the current car is so smart. If you are young people, you will only think that you are pretending to be B, which is boring and boring. Even more than that.
If you don't use voice, you have to find the window button inside that big screen. And then......
In fact, I really think that the case of opening the window is on the car door, and the button of the tail door is on the tail door. Pretty good. Why do you do so much!!! It is better to spend the cost on space and make it bigger.
Of course, the voice assistant is not saying bad, Xiaopeng's doing is indeed good. Relatively speaking, GAC's is doing very badly, very badly, basically equal to none, completely unrecognizable!!!
Third, acceleration is not so exaggerated. Many friends will feel that the speed of the car should be as fast as possible. Now many electric vehicles like to use speed-up as a gimmick, even attached to the rear of the car. For example, A certain Yadi's 3.9S.
This is actually not a bad thing, but if this is to sacrifice a lot of other aspects of the function, (such as less battery life, the price is super expensive). I just felt completely meaningless. As a family car, the speed increase of about 5 or 6S is actually enough. No matter how fast, the requirements for the driver are really high. I went to test drive the P7 and the drive in sport mode was really fast. It's horribly fast. I think Tesla will have so many things to do, and this also has a certain relationship.
All in all, the speed of this car has reached the standard of a normal electric vehicle, which is in line with my expectations.
Fourth, space, space, space !!! The space of this car is really more than 100,000 electric vehicles. I think the car's space is in some sense more important than performance. How big it is, or you have to go to see for yourself.
Fifth, the basic skills are solid. I can only say that compared with the same hundreds of thousands of electric vehicles on the market, Aeon has done a relatively solid car. Basically in line with psychological needs. The workmanship is very good.
