Although the owner loves traditional culture, he does not like to add a large number of traditional elements to his living environment without discrimination, believing that doing so will make his living environment appear dull and depressing. He asked the design of the new house to be based on modern concepts, adding a little Chinese design element in the middle to create a comfortable, warm, cultural connotation and Zen living space.

This house plus the basement has a total of four floors, in addition to the conventional living, there is a lot of space to design leisure and entertainment space, for this reason the owner deliberately put forward some needs to the designer, hoping that the designer can achieve one by one in the design of the villa:
- The owners loved the traditional tea ceremony and asked to design a tea room.
- The owners and family valued wellness and asked for a fitness area in the villa.
- There are elders and children in the home, and it is necessary to set aside a special bedroom for the elders and children to live in.
- The owner himself likes to read in a quiet environment, so he needs to reserve a separate study for him.
- The owner's home is often visited by guests, and it is necessary to set aside several bedrooms for the owner to entertain the guests.
01 Floor plan
After figuring out the actual situation of the villa and the needs of the owner, the designer made the following floor plan design for the villa:
- The basement is used as a leisure space, with a tea room and a western kitchen set up in the space in front of the garage, a nanny room on the right side of the garage, a fitness area outside the nanny room, and a multi-functional entertainment area in the front space of the fitness area.
- The first floor serves as a space for guests and living, and on the first floor, there are living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, and other spaces. In addition, it is inconvenient to take care of the elderly going up and down the stairs, and the elderly room where the elderly live is also set on the first floor.
- Two second bedrooms are set up on the second floor for the owners to entertain guests. There is a folding bed in the study room in the lower right corner of the second floor, and if there are many guests, it can also be converted into a guest room.
- The third floor is set up as the exclusive space of the owner, in which the master bedroom, cloakroom, bathroom and the owner's exclusive study are set up for the owner to live and read.
02 Living room
The living room is extremely high and the sense of space is full, and this large space itself has its own mansion temperament. Solid wood flooring, wood grain wall panels and white rock slabs and latex paint walls are used to match, which sets the tone of the space warm and clean.
The lotus flower has a special place in both Buddhist culture and classical Chinese culture, and a group of chandeliers shaped like lotus leaves have been selected on the super high ceiling, which not only fills the space but also makes the space full of Zen.
03 kids room
The floor, furniture and other objects in the children's room are made of solid wood with the color of the original wood, giving people a fresh and soft feeling.
The hemp carpet looks rough visually and conveys a rustic, natural feeling, and these elements combine to create a comfortable and relaxed sleeping environment for children.
04 Master bedroom
A short wall was custom-made in the master bedroom using solid wood panels, which can be used as a VIDEO wall and also serve as a space separation.
The right side of the TV wall is equipped with a bed, desk and other facilities as a rest space, and the left side of the wall is placed with a leisure chair and a warm light as a leisure space in the bedroom.
In the bedroom, a small attic is also set up, which is deep in the bedroom, which can isolate the outside world, give people a safer and quieter feeling psychologically, and make people feel more relaxed.
05 reclining
The second bedroom is located in a diamond-shaped exterior wall, which is an irregular space that gives a fresher sense of freshness and makes the space appear more vivid.
A large number of wood grain panels are used in the second bedroom to decorate the window edges and walls, making the bedroom look warm and natural.
Shutters were installed on each window, solving the problem of irregular walls that could not be uniformly installed throughout the large curtains.
06 times sleep two
The second bedroom also has two windows on the wall on the side of the bed, and together with the large window on the right side, the space of the second bedroom two is more transparent, and the outdoor natural landscape is better reflected indoors, creating a more natural and relaxed bedroom environment.
07 Tea Room
Although the tea room is in the basement, but next to it is the landscape area, the landscape area can not only provide a natural and fresh landscape for the tea room, but also provide natural light for the tea room like a lighting well, so that the tea room space is bright and soft.
In the tea room, a strip shaped like a traditional tea table was selected, and various utensils used in the traditional tea ceremony were placed on the top, which not only met the use function but also made the tea room more classical.
