Simon Dach (1605–1659) German lyric poet of the seventeenth century. His dialectal "Talau's Anxin" has been composed by composers and has become a famous folk song.

Talau's Anxin, I am very fond of her,
She is my life, my wealth, my gold.
The ansination of Talau, regardless of pain and joy,
