Eliseo Meifrén y Roig (1859–1940) was a Spanish Impressionist painter. Out of his passion for art, he gave up medicine and entered llotja College, where he studied under Anthony Kaba and Ramon Martin Alcina. In 1879, he went to Paris to support his studies by selling small canvases and sketches of cityscapes. However, his style was decisively influenced by a short trip to Italy.
