On the occasion of "World Book Day", Ganyu Experimental Kindergarten launched the fifth "Books Overflowing The Garden reading with growth" theme activity, aiming to further cultivate children's reading awareness, reading interest, reading habits and reading ability.

Theme Activity 2: The Most Beautiful Sound
Online parent-child recitation, looking for the most beautiful sound. Parents shared the recordings of children's recitation, storytelling and parent-child reading to the class group for everyone to learn and appreciate each other, and regularly selected the "most beautiful voice" in the school public account to promote parent-child co-reading on a larger scale.

Theme Activity No. 3: Bookmark Making
According to the age characteristics of the children in the kindergarten, the teacher organized the children to carry out the "bookmark making" activity. Kindergarten children use pasting, spelling, drawing and other ways to make their own bookmarks. Bookmarks are reading stations, their own bookmarks, not only to help children remember the number of pages to read, to protect the book, but also to stimulate children's desire to read.

In order to improve children's interest in reading, the kindergarten organized a class reading star evaluation activity. Each class will be awarded the title of "Reading Star" to children who insist on reading every day or parent-child co-reading, have good reading habits and strong reading interests, and play an exemplary and leading role in class reading activities.

Combined with the age characteristics and interests of the kindergarten children, each class carried out the "Happy Story Club" activity. Each class uses the morning talk, noon, before leaving the park and other times to carry out daily story sharing activities.

Learning to be a teacher, being a model. In order to create a more intense atmosphere of books and fully demonstrate the good spiritual outlook of the kindergarten teachers who are deeply engaged in music learning, the experimental kindergarten held a reading salon activity of "Visible Children's Findable Curriculum", which not only promoted the professional growth of teachers, but also created a reading atmosphere that loved learning and was good at learning.
This theme activity has built a platform for home exchanges, promoted parent-child exchanges, enhanced parent-child feelings, stimulated children's interest in reading, and achieved the educational goal of "books infiltrating childhood, reading accompanied by growth".
