Since I can remember, I like to be in the warm sun, to the arms of my mother or adult, and let him (she) help catch the lice on his head, always feeling that it is a kind of enjoyment, a most comfortable thing.

When the eldest brother first got married, as long as the eldest sister-in-law had time, I pestered her to catch lice, and she said to her family: "Hurry up and find a daughter-in-law for the old man, and specially give him lice." So it made everyone laugh and leaned forward and backward. At night, when we slept, my mother would turn over our cotton clothes and take them above the stove mouth, shake them vigorously, so that the lice on the clothes would fall into the furnace and burn to death, and the rest would be under the dim little kerosene lamp, found out from the gap in the clothes, and touched the nail cover of the two thumbs, squeezing the lice and egg "snapping", and the red blood stains were stained with the nail cover.

At that time, catching lice became an indispensable thing in life, and when adults went uphill to work and rest, the first thing they did was to take off their clothes to catch lice, and people laughed and joked, which became a kind of amateur entertainment every day. After a day of work, I was already tired enough to choke, and I couldn't take care of the bite of the lice, so I fell asleep. But after all, it was the lice brought about by poor sanitation and bad habits, and the conditions were poor during that period, and people were poor! People who are poor appear to be short-minded, and their thinking is even more outdated, and there is no way to let the lice behave arbitrarily, so this is also the hidden meaning of "poor lice".

Investigate the reason for the formation of lice, because people are too poor, everyone is a dress, there is no replacement of clothes, underwear and underwear are few, and there are no conditions for bathing, summer is good to say, often go to the river to bathe, wash clothes at night, the next day can wear, do not delay work, in winter, because of the lack of firewood, people are distressed about that little hot water, a month or even a winter there is no opportunity to bathe, the body is dirty, is the paradise where lice grow, the body temperature of the human body becomes a paradise for growing lice.

Listening to grandma tell a story, a teacher in the private school threw aside the clothes with lice, for a long time did not wear it, and when he found the clothes and put them on again, the itching of the whole body was unbearable, after taking off the clothes and reading it, the big and small lice ate like small fat pigs, the body was fat and round, hated him for gritting his teeth, caught it and bit the lice with his teeth, happened to be found by the student, went home and told his mother, saying that his teacher ate lice, so the student's mother would catch the lice, when it was his turn to manage the meal, fried with eggs, During the meal, the teacher said that the dish was too fragrant. Although it is a joke, it shows that lice have tenacious vitality and people hate it.

When I was in the third grade, the students often had lice on their bodies, the boys shaved their heads, so that the lice had no place to stand, especially the female classmates, the lice eggs on their heads (also called lice) were white and raw, the hair was grown to the waist, or endured the pain of cutting love, cut into short hair, combed lice and eggs with grates, and the female classmates in front of my seat were even more angry, and went home to let her mother shave her bald head, which added to the fun of the male classmates, naughty me, before the teacher came to class, Touching her bald head with her hand, while singing: "Light oil head, meat and eggs ..." ... Realized the dream of my life.

The last time I saw lice, was in 1994, the daughter went to elementary school, because it was far from home, needed to live in the school, the lice in the dormitory climbed on the daughter, at first the daughter did not know what it was, did not take it seriously, and so the head was full of lice eggs, the wife found out, she took the daughter home on the weekend, bathed, ironed clothes with hot water, sprayed on the hair with medicine, and when washing the hair a few minutes later, the lice eggs (lice) were densely packed under the washbasin, exposed to the bedding in the sun, and finally completely solved.
