On April 21, 2022, the Maserati Grecale was officially launched, and a total of 5 models of new cars were launched, priced at 638,800-1,063,800 yuan. The new car is positioned as a mid-level SUV, which will be powered by a 2.0T high/low power engine, and a 3.0T engine, and a 3.0T engine will be supplied in the future.
Maserati Grecale has three different exterior styles to choose from, three versions corresponding to three dynamics, positioned from low to high named GT, Modena and Trofeo. The new car uses the same new family design language as the MC20, with the iconic trident logo on the front face paired with an exaggerated front surround to create a powerful aura.
As Klaus Busse, Maserati's design director, introduced: Our design intention was not to make the Gregale an Internet celebrity car, but to create a timeless beauty, so we borrowed a lot from the beauty and design of Italian classical sculpture.
The rear styling is also outstanding, such as the "boomerang" shaped taillight design inspired by maserati's classic model 3200GT, the new car incorporates more sports car elements, making you look quite full and smooth even from the back, full of muscle, plus the new "Maserati" letter logo, the sense of luxury is full.
In terms of interior, the new car creates a strong atmosphere of technology. In terms of detailed design, the new car is matched by three large screens, of which the 12.3-inch central control screen is connected to the 8.8-inch screen below, and the future domestic version of the car machine system will be developed in cooperation with Tencent to support Apps such as QQ Music, and the 8.8-inch screen below is used to set the vehicle comfort function, including seat heating, ventilation, lighting control, etc. It is worth mentioning that the new car also innovatively replaces the mechanical clock of the previous Maserati model with a digital clock.
In terms of power, the new GT version and the Modena version are equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine and equipped with a 48V light hybrid system, the former with a maximum power of 220 kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds, the latter with a maximum power of 242 kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.3 seconds, and the Trofeo version is equipped with a new 3.0T V6 twin-turbo engine, which is based on the "Nettuno Poseidon" on the Maserati MC20 supercar "The engine was developed with a maximum power of 389 kW and an acceleration time of 3.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
