The meeting heard a report on the motions work made by Zhao Wensan, vice chairman of the CPPCC Regional Committee. The report pointed out that the proposal work in 2022 will strengthen political guidance, establish a sense of quality, highlight the characteristics of consultation, innovate the working mechanism, further play the role of proposals, and further improve the selection, handling and service quality of proposals.
Yuan Huyong, member of the Standing Committee of the District CPC Committee and executive deputy district governor, gave a briefing on the handling of proposals by the district government. Since the sixth session of the first session of the CPPCC District Committee, the district government has handled a total of 85 proposals, received 88 replies, and has completed all replies, with a satisfaction rate of 100 percent; 64 matters involved in the proposals have been resolved or basically resolved, accounting for 72.7 percent; and 24 cases are being resolved or included in the plan, accounting for 27.3 percent, contributing to the new progress in the economic and social development of our region.
The conference also commended in writing outstanding proposals, advanced sponsors of proposals and advanced undertakers. Nine proposals, including the proposal to speed up the development of the Pingshan International Talent Community, were rated as excellent proposals, 8 units such as the office of the district party committee (district government) were rated as advanced undertaking units, and 7 comrades such as Sun Yong were rated as advanced undertakers.
