On April 21, 2022, Maserati officially announced the official guidance price of its new SUV model, the Grecale, with a total of 5 models launched, ranging from 638,800 yuan to 1,063,800 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the Maserati Grecale, which is positioned as a medium-sized SUV, continues many of Maserati's classic design elements, equipped with an oversized straight waterfall grille, in which the "Trident" logo is placed. The headlamps on both sides are blackened, and the shape is not so fierce. The side of the Maserati Grecale looks very low, the "Shark Gills" on the front fenders and the "Trident" logo on the rear part of the car have been retained on the Gregale, and the "Shark Gills" still has a logo reflecting the model version.
The new car will use a maximum of 21-inch rims, a variety of styles of rims are very designed, the new car will also be equipped with multi-piston high-performance calipers as standard, different models of calipers in different colors. In terms of size, the three-dimensional dimensions of the Maserati Grecale are 4846 * 1848 * 1670mm, the wheelbase is 2901mm, compared with its biggest competitors, in addition to the body width, Grecale has obvious advantages. It is worth mentioning that the entire Grecale series will use a bilateral exhaust system with a total of four outlets.
In terms of interior, the 12.3-inch full LCD instrument + the central control multimedia screen of the upper and lower dual screens + the air outlet of the through-channel air conditioner are the new highlights of Maserati's design in the interior. The upper 12.3-inch screen is responsible for navigation and entertainment functions, and the lower 8.8-inch screen is the air conditioning control screen. The three-spoke steering wheel is quite stout, and the large paddle shifters also make people look like they have the urge to drive passionately. In terms of materials, Grecale offers a wide range of options for logs, leathers and carbon fibers. It is worth mentioning that Grecale also set up a digital clock on the center console, which can not only display the time, but also act as a compass, a timer and a feedback vehicle G-value.
In terms of power, the Grecale GT and Modena versions are equipped with a 2.0T engine supplemented by a 48V light mixing system, the GT version has a maximum output of 221kW, and the Modena version has been increased to 243kW, with a peak torque of 450Nm. The acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 5.6s and 5.3s, respectively.
The Grecale Trofeo version is powered by a 3.0T twin-turbo V6 engine with closed-cylinder technology, with a maximum power of 390 kW, a peak torque of 620 Nm, and an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h of 3.8 s. The whole series adopts an 8-speed automatic transmission and is equipped with a four-wheel drive system. In addition, two premiere limited edition models also appeared in the model list, they are the Gregare GT PrimaSerie Premiere Limited Edition and the Gregale Trofeo PrimaSerie Debut Limited Edition.
