In the upcoming UFC Fighting Night 205 tournament in Las Vegas, beijing time, Canada's Tanner Boser retired due to injury and has now been confirmed to be substituted by Chase Sherman against Moldova's undefeated champion Alexander Romanov.

Chase Sherman (15-9, 14 K, 0 S) is 32 years old and has a height of 193cm with an arm span of 198cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2014, joined the UFC in 2016 with a (9-1) result and four consecutive wins, and left the octagon cage event after achieving a (2-5) result at the UFC in 2018. After three straight wins, he returned to UFC in 2020 with a (14-6) score, 5 and second TKO Ike Villanueva, and recently suffered a career three-game losing streak, losing to Andrei Arlovski and Parker Porter respectively, and was just defeated by Jake Collier in the first set in January.

Alexander Romanov (15-0, 6 K, 8 S) is 31 years old and has a height of 188 cm with an arm span of 191 cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2016, won the EFC heavyweight championship in 2018, joined the UFC in 2020 with a (11-0) result, and has won four consecutive victories at the UFC so far. Debuted in the second set to roque Martinez, followed by marcos Rogerio de Lima in the first set, a point-out victory over Juan Espino last April, and just in the second set in November TKO Jared Vanderaa went unbeaten.

The tournament featured two Chinese players: Sumudalki (14-4, 11 K, 1 S) against former RIZIN Thor welterweight champion Manel Capet (17-6, 11 K, 5 S). Proud (18-9, 5 K, 2 S) against Britain's Cameron Ayres (10-5, 6 K, 4 S).

The headline main event of the day was with former UFC women's straw welt champion Jessica Andrad (22-9, 9 K, 7 S) against Amanda Lemos (11-1-1, 7 K, 2 S). The joint home event was american veteran Cray Guida (37-21, 7 K, 14 S) against Peruvian rookie Claudio Puyles (11-2, 2 K, 6 S).

The other two home games are: Rando Vanata (12-5, 4 K, 5 S) vs. Charles JoDain (12-4, 8 K, 3 S). Messi Barber (9-2, 5 K, 2 S) vs Montana de la Rosa (12-6, K, 8 S).
