Li Qiang: Old alleys, old courtyards and old houses

Now that I think about it, the happiness of my childhood was really as simple as a cup of boiled water, seemingly dull, and drinking like Ganlin. Those old, simple, smoky old alleys, old yards and old houses along the street are like magic boxes hiding treasures, and it is as if a fairy tale world flashes in an instant, so that the childhood time of material scarcity has a great joy of spiritual abundance. Although I can't say what wonderful about them, they can make my childhood time beautiful to the extreme.

The alleys along the street are forced and twisted, mostly "one-person alleys". The two slightly wider sections of the alley, the corners, and the dams usually live in three or five families, taking care of each other, which can well reflect the intimate relationship between the left and the right. In those alleys, it was the playground of our little friends, chasing from this end of the alley to that end, and from the other end of the alley to the old yard, the laughter along the way, stirring up the childhood time colorfully.

Sometimes, the little friends are also rarely quiet, sitting huddled under a fragment of the alley, small heads huddled together, reading the little people's books that everyone brought from home. The owner of the villain book sat in the middle, showing that who did not listen to the greeting, who wanted to read the villain's book. It is getting late, the villain book is still circulating in the hands of the little friends, it seems that the agreement of each person taking turns to read it once, with the fading light, quickly flipping through the villain book at a glance and ten lines, afraid that the master will change his mind and take the villain book back. Of course, I read the villain book because I have paid labor, that is, to give Fa Xiao an arithmetic problem that has completed twenty and four operations.

The residents of the old courtyard are more concentrated than the residents of the old alley, more compact, and the human touch and fireworks smell are stronger. On River Dam Street, out of any alley, you can find the way to the old yard, or the front door, or the back door, and they are interconnected. When I grew up, I understood that it is precisely because of this kind of civilian architectural style of interconnected alleys and courtyards that the neighbors have formed a normal daily life of neighbors who do not see each other and are like a family.

The Wu family courtyard and the Huang family courtyard are several relatively large houses in Xiaoximen, and each courtyard is inhabited by twenty or thirty households. Door to door with each other, window to window, the Zhang family's kitchen may be facing the Li family's bedroom, and the Qian family's aisle may be the passageway of the Chen family. The people in the old courtyard also had bumps and bumps, and there were also trifles, but after less than a while, the matter disappeared, and they gathered together to smoke and drink and blow the dragon gate array, or they were inextricably killed in the Chu River and Han Realm, as good as brothers.

At that time, there was a demobilized soldier surnamed Wu in the Wu family courtyard, who was said to have been hit in the brain by shrapnel in the zhenbao Island self-defense counterattack, causing some nerve problems. This person is tall, the waist is straight, very energetic, there are many stories, jokes are also many, neighbors and neighbors call him "Wu Dahan", let their children see and dodge, saying that they are afraid that nerves will hit people. But the children always can't resist the temptation of the story of "Wu Dahan", but they want to get together and listen to the story of "Wu Dahan" about catching spies and fighting wars. I don't know if those stories were made up by "Wu Dahan" himself, but the children listened to them with relish, and even the adults shouted for dinner and were reluctant to leave.

In addition, "Wu Dahan" will have a little bit of martial arts of southern fist and northern legs, swords, guns and swords, and often organize the babies on Heba Street to come to the beach by the Yangtze River to coach some basic martial arts knowledge, such as Zamabu, lower waist and so on. "Wu Dahan" taught very seriously, the children learned very hard, and even those neighbors who had previously been prejudiced against "Wu Dahan" were also impressed by "Wu Dahan".

Aunt Zhao of the Huang family yard makes "malt rice" in her home all year round, sells it in the market, and earns some hard money to support the family. Our children like to go to the Huang family yard to play the most, and what we think about is the smell of the smell of Aunt Zhao's house, which is really hungry. Aunt Zhao was kind-hearted, and when she saw that the children's minds were lost, she couldn't help but take three or two sticks from the steaming drawer, and after the children happily shared their food, they slipped away with a cigarette.

The childhood of the baba street children is inseparable from the protection of the old house. From the stone ladder along the bluestone slab along the walled road, you can see a hundred-year-old yellow kudzu tree, with lush branches and a huge canopy, next to old houses of different heights. The old houses are basically green tile houses, and some of them also have small attics, which are taller than the old bungalows on the street, showing that the owner's family is relatively well-off. In fact, these relatively wealthy families have always been not arrogant and reserved. It seems that they are superior to others, but in fact, they are all clothed people, very kind to people and friendly with their neighbors. In the summer cool time, the owner of the old house next to the yellow kudzu tree has already brewed several cups of tuo tea, set up a cool board bed, and waited for the neighbors to sit together and blow the dragon gate array in the north of the South China Sea under the yellow kudzu tree. Seeing that the children are coming one after another, the generous owner's family will immediately turn around and go to the old house to get some melon seeds, popcorn or sand fried beans on the plate, so that the children can eat with a smile.

The old alleys, old courtyards and old houses that I can't go back to have nourished my youth. Now they are gone, but they have always been cherished in my heart. Because, there are children's little people's books in the old alley, there are childhood malt dumplings in the old courtyard, and there are childhood incense mouths next to the old houses.

It is these lingering memories accumulated in old alleys, old courtyards, and old houses that I will miss for a lifetime...
