Paris Saint-Germain faced another pivotal summer in the transfer market as they tried to build a team that would ultimately be enough to win the Champions League. Although they signed top European football stars such as Ashraf, Ramos, Wijnaldum and Messi last summer, the Parisians have yet to find the right combination in their ranks and face rebuilding work in the coming weeks. A lot depends on the players they leave, but it's no surprise that every time they reach the transfer window, they have to be associated with a large number of top stars. So which stars are they looking for this summer? First, with Navas and Donalumma, PSG doesn't need to think about signing new goalkeepers.
Rudiger
Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to Chelsea defender Rudiger, and although they don't look like the most likely to sign the 2021 Germany international, they still have to make reinforcements in the defence given Ramos' injury problems.
Nuno-Mendes
It seems likely that Nuno Mendes could turn his loan into a permanent transfer. The 19-year-old, who has been loaned from Portugal this season, will be an impressive rising star with a lot of potential.
Araujo
In recent weeks, Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to young Barcelona defender Araujo. However, there is a good chance that the centre-back will sign a new contract and stay at Camp Nou. Without a deal, Paris Saint-Germain will try to make some fuss about the fact that his contract has only one year left.
Paul Pogba
Paris Saint-Germain is likely to see a big change of midfielders this summer. Their goal is to clear three or four players from their team. They are reportedly struggling to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United. The France international will offer them a different option than existing players, while also helping the club to raise their profile.
Milinkovic-Savage

Just three years after allowing Nkunku to travel to Leipzig for 13 million euros, Paris Saint-Germain may need to pay tens of millions of euros to get him back into the squad. The attacking midfielder has been a striker this season and has contributed amazing stats to bundesliga sides, but he is a Paris Saint-Germain fan and open to trades.
Ronaldo
If Mbappe travels to Real Madrid – a decision that for now appears to be pending – it will prompt Paris Saint-Germain to sign another important attacking genius. Can we really see Ronaldo and Messi finally working together? There were hints last summer that this could happen, and if Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, it will certainly become a rumor. In fact, it has already begun.
Lewandowski
Lewandowski is another player who could briefly replace Mbappe, having been temporarily linked to Paris Saint-Germain a year ago and they are still linked to the Poland international. However, Barcelona appear to be in the lead in this transfer.
Haaland
Given their wealth, PSG was certainly mentioned in reports about Harlan. They have the financial resources to close the deal, but City are confident they will close the deal, and PSG is not pushing for the deal.
Darwin-Nunez
After an explosive season at Benfica, Nunez was linked to clubs from different countries. It's no surprise that PSG is therefore considered one of them, with the Uruguayan being seen as a potential replacement for Mbappe.
