According to the official website of Southeast University, the invention pioneered the integrated fusion transmission architecture of real-time terahertz optical fiber, using a new type of photon-assisted terahertz technology route, with the help of commercially mature digital coherent optical modules, breaking the bottleneck of electronic devices and solving the problem of real-time processing of traditional terahertz wireless communication signals. This invention combines the dual advantages of high-bandwidth and large-capacity optical fiber communication and portable and flexible access of terahertz wireless communication, which can significantly reduce the threshold of 6G research and development and greatly accelerate the commercialization process of terahertz technology.
