Lanzhou, April 16 (Yan Jiao) China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. Fifth Academy 510 (hereinafter referred to as "Aerospace 510") disclosed on the 16th that the instrument lighting subsystem software products and measurement and control subsystem software products developed by the institute are the "good things" for the return of Shenzhou 13 on a "business trip".

On the same day, the Shenzhou 13 mission crew, which had been "on a business trip" in space for half a year, successfully completed the scheduled task and returned to the ground safely. Shenzhou 13 return module for the first time to use the rapid return program, during this period, the return module 510 developed instrument lighting subsystem software products, and measurement and control subsystem software products played a major role.

Xia Jiagao, senior engineer of the Software Technology Department of the 510 Information and Software Center, said that the comprehensive display unit of the instrument lighting subsystem, the human-computer interaction equipment and the supporting software of the sound unit, receive and display the important event information of the spacecraft through the internal bus, notify the astronauts of sequential flight events, emergency events, in and out of the station events and other display information and voice prompts, and carry out multiple voice prompts or highlights of the particularly important warning information to ensure that the astronauts can quickly grasp the information inside and outside the return cabin during the return.

According to Xia Jiagao, the manual left panel unit, the hand-controlled right panel unit, the coding instruction version, the hand-controlled right bulkhead and other equipment supporting the instrument lighting subsystem provide astronauts with the necessary operation and control of the relevant display interface of the spacecraft. The international rescue indication indicator of the measurement and control subsystem and the supporting software emit a 406MHz radio beacon signal that meets the international standard after the landing of the return module, and after the search and rescue aircraft receives the signal, the location of the source is determined at the first time, which provides important technical support for the accurate and rapid search after the landing of the return capsule.

As a milestone in the construction of the continental space station, the Shenzhou 13 mission completed the tasks of assisting the transfer of the robot arm auxiliary module, hand-controlled remote operation, and outgoing activities during the orbit, and the 510 institute also played an important role in it.

Ma Dongtao, a researcher at the Mechanical and Electrical Products Division of the 510 Institute, said that on November 7, 2021 and December 26, 2021, in the two missions of Shenzhou 13, the 510 participants accurately operated the on-orbit products to help astronauts complete the safe exit, robotic arm control, safe return and other links to ensure the smooth completion of the mission. On January 6, 2022, after about 47 minutes of close coordination across the system, the space station sky and robotic arm transposition cargo spacecraft test was a complete success.

Over the years, the 510 has accumulated more than 1,000 on-orbit flight products in the field of human aerospace, and has successfully completed previous manned flight tasks, among which equipment such as the cabin support platform, rendezvous and docking lights, and the cabin door rapid leak detector are the key equipment to achieve major milestones.
