On April 15, in the latest 355th batch of "Announcements on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we found the declaration information of GAC Toyota bZ4X, and the new car has highly restored the design of the concept car and is scheduled to be listed within this year
Based on the Toyota e-TNGA architecture, the BEV exclusive platform is built and positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV. From the declaration drawing, we can see that the bZ4X adopts a very avant-garde design approach, similar to the hammer-shaped front face with through-type rear tail lights, with strong family characteristics. The contrasting design of the fenders is quite individual, while the large black trim that appears around the body frame accentuates its SUV properties. In terms of body size, the three-dimensional dimensions of the bZ4X are 4690*1860*1650mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2850mm.
It is worth mentioning that from the information released, the bZ4X is also equipped with a roof solar charging panel, which can be driven by solar power for 1800km each year. In addition, the bZ4X is equipped with a special-shaped steering wheel, steer-by-wire system, "TSS 3.0 Smart Walk Safety" auxiliary set and other rare configurations in the same class.
In terms of power, the bZ4X will be available in both front-drive and four-wheel drive versions, the front-drive version will be equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 150kW, and the four-wheel drive version will be equipped with a dual motor with a total output of 160kW, using the X-MODE four-wheel drive system jointly developed with Subaru, and the Grip-Control intelligent multi-road condition adaptation system.
