Chen Mingzhen, male, Han ethnicity, native of Nan'an, Fujian Province, born in July 1936, joined the Communist Party of China in April 1955, and began working in September 1961. He has served as the director of the Department of Neurosurgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the Distinguished Professor of Neurosurgery of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the consultant of neurosurgery of the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the third member of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the third and fourth chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, the honorary chairman of the fifth session, the standing member of the first senior expert committee of the Guangdong Medical Association, and the member of the Chinese Neuroneoplastic Expert Committee of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (the first session). He is a member of the Academic Committee of the World Chinese Neurosurgery Association (the first session), a member of the World Federation of Neurosurgery (WFNS), and a reviewer and editorial board member of many journals such as the Chinese Journal of Neurosurgery.
