Recently, the author learned from the Gaoxian Housing and Urban Management Bureau that as an important part of the north-south direction of the skeleton road network in Gaoxian County and an important corridor for urban public transportation, the construction of a section of Binjiang South Road located in the western area of the west bank of the Nanguang River is being carried out in an orderly manner and is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.
Binjiang South Road section of the project and the high-speed rail new area planning area across the river, the project for the reconstruction and expansion of the road, is one of the key urban construction projects in Gaoxian in 2022, the design starting point is the intersection of Binhe Road and Zhengda Road, the end point is the intersection of Binhe Road and Baihelin Avenue, the total length of the road is 1318.524 meters, the design speed is 50 kilometers per hour, the standard width is 40 meters, and the two-way 6 lanes. The construction content includes road engineering, traffic engineering, rain and sewage pipe network, lighting, landscape, etc. Up to now, the road subgrade has been basically completed, and processes such as drainage, paving of sidewalks, and green planting are being promoted.
"After the completion of the road expansion, the function of the riverfront ring road network will be further improved, the urban traffic pressure will be alleviated, the daily travel of the masses will be facilitated, and the image of the city and the quality of living will be improved." The relevant person in charge of the bureau said.
