"World Brother" Scotty Schaeffler, Tigers' Chilean teenager Joaquin Nieman, Danny Willett and DJ all finished with a 69 (-3) and are tied for third.

Defending champions Hideki Matsuyama are tied for 19th place, Wheat, Colin Morikawa and Baba Watson are +1 in a tie for 31st, and Adam Scott, Red, Joan Ram, Sheophile and Spieth are +2 in a tie for 43rd. Koepka+3 is tied for 60th place, and de Chambord, Urschuren and Justin Thomas are +4 in tied for 70th place.
