Zhejiang Edition published 8 kinds of books were selected as the potential books of the "Going Global" key book of the London Book Fair

From April 5 to April 7, the London Book Fair was held at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London. In order to showcase the achievements of Sino-British cooperation and promote cultural exchanges, the State Press and Publication Administration announced 100 kinds of potential books for China's "going out" key book at the London Book Fair, and 8 kinds of books of Zhejiang Publishing United Group were selected, ranking third among local publishing groups.

During the London Book Fair, the selected books were displayed on the "Reading China" page of the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the official website of the London Book Fair.

Under the deployment and guidance of the State Press and Publication Administration, the national publishing unit recommended more than 2,000 key books, and finally selected 100 kinds of "going out" key book potential books, including 50 kinds of books that have been translated into English and published overseas (display books) and 50 kinds of key copyright books, which are representative achievements of China's publishing "going out".

The London Book Fair is the most important spring event for the global book industry, a major international book fair with more than 1,400 exhibitors from more than 40 countries. Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic in two years, this year it returned to offline exhibition for the first time. 2022 coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ambassadorial diplomatic relations between China and the UK, and as one of the important carriers of cultural exchanges, books can display the achievements of China-UK cooperation from multiple angles, fields and levels. As one of the key publishing participating groups in China, Zhejiang Publishing United Group will participate in the book fair in the form of online and offline displays, exhibiting nearly 140 kinds of books, covering politics, culture, art, literature and other fields.
