The 14K godfather of a generation of fierce Dutch: Yi Zhong

author:Charlie

14K is one of the most famous international mafia organizations in Hong Kong. It was the largest triad organization of the 1960s and 1970s. Since its founding in 1949, it has experienced more than half a century of development. In this bloody struggle, many influential figures emerged.

The 14K godfather of a generation of fierce Dutch: Yi Zhong

Yi Zhong was born in 1932 to a poor family in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province. As a child, he suffered from war. After the death of his parents, he made a living as a wanderer. At the age of 13, Yi Zhong took advantage of the chaos of the customs and casually dragged the hand of an old woman and successfully crossed the border to Hong Kong. At that time, there were many martial arts schools in Hong Kong, most of which were run by jianghu people. Yi Zhong was admitted to a martial arts school. After studying "Hong Quan" for several years, he had excellent martial arts and fierce fighting. His brothers feared him and became a gold medal boxer at a martial arts school.

After the establishment of 14K in Hong Kong, it continued to recruit soldiers and horses, and Yi Zhong was included in it. Yi Zhong earned the nickname "Stupid Loyalty" for not wanting to fight, but he was appreciated by the gang leader. As a result, he continued his promotion at 14K and was later promoted to "426 Red Stick". In the 1960s and 1970s, theatre viewing was a major entertainment activity for Hong Kongers. The main gangs compete for custody and sell scalpers to make money. Yi Zhong not only firmly controlled the 14K of To Kwa Wan, but also led his men to expand to Yau Ma Tei Temple Street. In the early 1970s, Yi Zhong made an effort to get 14K to control most of Yau Tsim Mong's night shows.

In 1973, Yi Zhong's ambitions expanded, and he wanted to dabble in nightclubs in Wan Chai. As a result, he engaged in fierce competition with the old gang that runs Wan Chai, the "Hehetu". During a battle, a Heitu fell from the building and died in a pursuit. After the murder, the local detective asked Yi Zhong to "hand over the matter", and Yi Zhong organized a "life and death lottery". A young man on the road won the death lottery. However, when he was convicted of a felony for murder, he shouted injustice and told the truth, which involved black and white collusion.

After the establishment of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in 1974, he began to crack down on triad-related police, so he reopened the investigation into the case, while Yi Zhong flew to the Netherlands to avoid attention. With multiple ports, a prime location and lenient drug penalties, the Netherlands was once a haven for drug cartels.

After arriving in the Netherlands, Yi Zhong collaborated with the 14K red stick developed here earlier, creating another situation. Not only did he work as a local brother, but he also made a lot of money through pornography, gambling and drugs, and even opened a martial arts school to recruit students. His followers were known as the "Killer Party" and he also earned the title of "Dutch Godfather".

However, a large tree moved against the wind, causing dissatisfaction and bloody fighting among the Singaporean gang "A-Gong Party". Yi Zhong has always been a fierce character. He directly led people to copy the lair of the "Ah Gong Party" and killed the leader of the "Ah Gong Party", causing shock among blacks and whites in the local area.

Although Yi Zhong was far away in the Netherlands, he was still unable to escape the pursuit of the Hong Kong police and was extradited back to Hong Kong in 1976. He was later sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and released in early 2002 for good performance and old age. After his release from prison, he kept a low profile and stopped interfering in the jianghu.
