With the persistence of several generations of "cultivating the sea", we have become the world's largest country in marine aquaculture. However, the fish species in the offshore waters have already satisfied our stomachs, and many of the groupers, Atlantic salmon, salmon, etc., have to be imported or artificially caught.
With so many people in the world, it all depends on fishing, and there will always be a day when the fish will be eaten.

In May 2022, the "Guoxin No. 1" built by Qingdao Guoxin Group was delivered and put into operation.
"Guoxin No. 1" is the world's first 100,000-ton intelligent fishery large-scale aquaculture ship, with a total investment of 450 million yuan, a hull length of 249.9 meters, a width of 45 meters, a depth of 21.5 meters, and a draft of 12 meters.
There are 15 breeding warehouses in the ship, with a total water body of nearly 90,000 cubic meters. At present, about 3,700 tons of fish can be raised a year.
What is a Farming Ship? In fact, it is "shipboard cabin", and the "fish pond" in the cabin is the flowing seawater, which is exactly the same as the seawater outside the ship, but it is separated by a layer of hull.
Before delivery, "Guoxin No. 1" has taken the big yellow croaker to visit the sea for several months, and has gone to Ningde, Taizhou, Zhoushan, Qingdao, Weihai, Zhuhai and other sea areas for breeding, focusing on a freely moving "big fish pond", and also harvesting the golden big yellow croaker.
At present, the fish raised by Guoxin No. 1 is a large yellow croaker, which is wild, yellow, golden and fresh! Why is it a large yellow croaker and not other fish. As we all know, large yellow croaker is the most difficult fish to breed in marine fish.

Therefore, raising large yellow croaker also has a certain experimental significance! Even if the large yellow croaker produced by Guoxin No. 1 is now more expensive than the market, but after all, the quality is there, and making money from the big yellow croaker is not the goal of Guoxin No. 1, but it is not possible to sell it at a loss.
According to data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, by the end of 2023, the mainland has built 4 aquaculture vessels, 40 truss cages and more than 20,000 gravity cages.
Guoxin 1 is not the first aquaculture vessel. The first aquaculture ship in mainland China is "Lu Lanyu 61699", which has already set sail in 2017.
However, Guoxin No. 1 technology is very good, and it can move to avoid bad weather such as red tides and typhoons. In addition, there is a water exchange system, which can inject 40-meter-deep seawater into the breeding tank through technology, and the water can be changed up to 16 times a day, in short, so that the fish are no different from living in the sea.

According to the "2021 National Fishery Economic Statistical Bulletin" issued by the Fisheries and Fishery Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the total output value of the fishery economy of the whole society is 2,968.973 billion yuan, of which the fishery output value is 1,515.863 billion yuan.
Among the fishery output value, the output value of marine fishing is 230.372 billion yuan, the output value of marine aquaculture is 430.170 billion yuan, the output value of freshwater fishing is 33.656 billion yuan, and the output value of freshwater aquaculture is 747.375 billion yuan.
