Recently, the Peruvian Icachamoro Bridge undertaken by the Latin American Branch has entered the bridge deck construction stage, marking another key step from the official opening of the Ica Bridge.

In 2020, the Latin American branch won the bid for the Peruvian Icachamoro Bridge Project, which is the first bridge project of China Railway Tenth Bureau in Peru and the largest contract amount single project in the Ica region of Peru. The total length of the design line of the project is 800m, of which the lead road on both sides of the bridge is 540m long, the auxiliary road is 100m long, the main bridge is a 160m lower-bearing steel box tie rod arch bridge, the net span diameter is 158m, and the total bridge has 72 tie rods, 41 beams, 16 cross-bracings, and 252 8cm thick bridge deck prefabricated panels.

Up to now, the construction of the Icachamoro Bridge Project in Peru has been completed by 98%, and the main traffic road across the Machadot River will be opened in the near future, and the Ica City will be connected to Ica City through the 1S Highway and the Carra EL Carmen Highway, which will promote regional interconnection and help improve local people's livelihood and economic development.
