"The Most Meaningful Book"
The sea of books is vast, which wave belongs to us? It just so happened that I had a list of books from García Márquez. A magazine asked for "five books that are most meaningful to you," and this was his response: One Thousand and One Nights, King Oedipus by Sophocles, Moby Dick from Melville, The Spanish Lyric Poems, and The Spanish Dictionary. At first he wanted to include the Count of Monte Cristo, but then he felt that the Oedipus King was in front of him; and when he thought of War and Peace, he thought that "it is the best-written" novel, and felt that it was already well known. And "Moby Dick" "disorderly structure creates one of the most beautiful chaos in literature" has not yet been recognized, and it is more worth recommending.
This forty-year-old book list is from Painless Literature and is included in Márquez's collection of essays, Back to the Seed (translated by Tao Yuping, Nanhai Publishing Company, January 2022). The book also receives a lot of social reports written by lao Ma when he was a journalist, which is comparable to detective novels and fascinating. Therefore, I have no hesitation in including this book in my spring book list.
When it comes to "the most meaningful books", I can't help but think of the classic works of classic writers, books are not afraid of old age, and prefer reunions again and again. In recent years, many publishing houses have launched many kind and simple hard-scribed editions of famous works. The first series of "Wenjing | Star System" launched by Century Wenjing includes "Resurrection", "Tess of the D'Urbervilles", "Castle", "Sakhalin Travels", "Lamb Fat Ball", "Red Cavalry Army" (Shanghai People's Publishing House, January 2022 edition) and other well-known works, as well as guides for contemporary writers; the youth edition of the brand book "Everyone's Little Book" of Beijing Publishing House has also added world famous books, with two copies of "The Old Man and the Sea" and "Hunter's Notes" in hand, and the small folio is also popular. The free mind is not imprisoned, reading can take us to distant places, and recently I was reading Chekhov's Sakhalin Travels, places that may not be able to go in a lifetime, and opening the book is right in front of us.
The peach blossoms of the readers
This set of three books: "My Companions of Mountain Animals", "Those Shining Days in Life", and "Peach Tree People's Home: The Time of The Reader's Family" (Beijing Times Chinese Literature Bureau October 2021 edition), I immediately picked the last book co-authored by Zhu Tiantian, Zhu Tianxin, and Zhu Tianyi, because "Peach Tree People's Home" is such a spring-rich name.
This book is also realistic, there are two peach trees in the backyard of the Zhu family, planting vegetables and flowers, and connecting the hillside. (Zhu Tiantian: "Spring Shirt Line") Is this a peach blossom source? Where in the world there are peach blossoms, their material life is actually quite tense, and for a period of time their lives are still supported by relatives and friends. However, the "reading family", living in peace and happiness, mingling with nature and small animals, everything has become the "best time". Zhu Tiantian covets typhoon days, power outages, parents do not do things, a family of five people nestled in the big bed in the hall, parents chatting idly, children playing on the side... Over time, happiness may not come from material barriers, but from the intimate memory of this ordinary life.
I feel how important it is to have a spiritual space in Mr. Feng Jicai's new book, "A Cave in the Studio" (Writers Publishing House, January 2022 edition). The studio "has the privacy of the hole, the freedom of home, the magic of the gods", and the painting is "more of the expression and expression of the personal heart" for him. Following Mr. Feng's text and a large number of pictures, I made a roll on the grass of art. I also especially like Mr. Feng's studio and the corridor outside the study, "flowers and trees, green vines, a natural", sitting in this green, "as in the countryside". ("Chairs on the Corridor") The feeling here is not that spring is coming, but that the four seasons are like spring, and spring is permanent.

Mr. Huang Yongyu's poetry collection "See laughter collection" (illustrated edition, Writers Publishing House) met us this season, and more than 170 illustrations explained what "poetic feelings" are. The spring he writes about is the "green" of his hometown Nanhua Mountain: "Green is so long-winded, / Green is so repetitive, / Green is breathless,......"
