When we got on the tour bus, the beautiful and generous guide began to introduce himself. Travel to North Korea can only be accompanied by a group, in addition to the driver, there is a photographer and two tour guides. Both tour guides are women, one surnamed Kim, who is responsible for introducing tourists and answering questions from tourists. Another tour guide, surnamed Li, was responsible for the safety of tourists and spoke almost a lot along the way.

It is said that it is responsible for safety, but in fact, it is to keep an eye on tourists, in order to prevent tourists from running around on the road. Because when you travel in North Korea, you can't run around at will. On the way from the Pyongyang airport in North Korea to the city, I saw many North Koreans riding bicycles, and the color of their clothing was mainly army green and dark blue. Their mental outlook is very simple, and looking at them has a feeling of traveling through time and space.
After arriving in downtown Pyongyang, I was deeply impressed by the streets of Pyongyang. The streets of Pyongyang are very spacious, but there are very few vehicles. Many places are wider than domestic streets, but there are very few vehicles driving. As to why Pyongyang, North Korea, has built its streets so wide, I asked our tour guide. The guide replied that because the wide road is a symbol of modernization, Pyongyang is the capital of North Korea and a modern city. So the road is wide. As for why there are so few cars on the road. Our guide's answer was that because the air quality in Pyongyang is good, the number of cars will affect the air quality.
The tour guide also asked me if the air quality in Chinese cities was good for them, and I was dumbfounded. Chatting with the North Korean tour guide, I found that she could speak well. The eloquence is very good, and there are many high-rise buildings on both sides of the road in Pyongyang, North Korea. However, most of the high-rise buildings were built before the 1990s, so many of them look old. In fact, the population density of Pyongyang in North Korea is not very large, and in my opinion, it does not need so many high-rise buildings. However, in the eyes of the North Korean people, high-rise buildings are also a symbol of modernization.
According to my observation, most of the high-rise buildings on both sides of the North Korean road are residential buildings, and many of the residential buildings are empty, and there is no one living in them. It can be seen that the residential buildings in Pyongyang can fully meet the living needs of the local people. Ask the tour guide why there are many residential buildings empty? Our tour guide replied that after reunification, it would be left for the South Korean compatriots to live.
