The World Championships and Asian Games Marathon Trials were originally scheduled to be held together on April 17, but due to the impact of the epidemic, the event was officially cancelled. At present, there are only a few months left before the World Championships and the Hangzhou Asian Games, and Japan has recently announced the final list of participants, and the chinese team's participation list will be determined through this selection competition.
Regarding the details of the selection competition, the Athletics Association has not yet released it publicly, but due to the nature of the event, the selection competition may gather representatives of the domestic marathon, which will be a contest between masters. At the time when domestic offline marathon events are frequently postponed, it is expected that they can create different results.

2022 Hangzhou Asian Games
The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou from 10 to 25 September 2022, with the plenary meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia scheduled for 3 November 2012, together with the host cities of the 2018 Asian Games, but for some reason postponed.
