Residual ice above spring water
Above the double cold is the steep spring breeze

The snow melts to residual snow and the ice melts to clarity
The beauty of the Hermitage, as white as jade
Quietly and slowly
Ding'er, ding-ding retreated
The beauty of the cold pole is plain
