The upcoming UFC 273 match in Jacksonville, USA, on April 10, Beijing time, was adjusted again, with Ilir Latifi temporarily withdrawing from the tournament and now being decided to be substituted by Jared Vandra against Russian veteran Alexei Orenik.

Jared Vandra (12-7, 7 K, 3 S) is 29 years old and has a height of 193cm with an arm span of 203cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2015, won the EFC Heavyweight Championship and defended the title once in 2018, won the SG Heavyweight Championship in 2019, won the first round of the White Dana Draft TKO in 2020, joined the UFC in 2021 with a (11-4) result and two consecutive wins, and has achieved (1-3) results in the UFC so far. His UFC debut in February was defeated by Sergey Spivak's second TKO, a point-by-point victory over Justin Tafa in May, a second-inning TKO defeat by Alexander Romanov in October, and a divergent decision to lose to Andrei Arlovski in February.

Alexei Orenik (59-16-1, 8 K, 46 S) is 44 years old and has a height of 188cm with an arm span of 203cm. He began his professional MMA career in 1996, winning M-1, IAFC, KSW and WCMMA titles, joining the UFC in 2014 with a (51-9-1) result and nine consecutive wins, and has achieved (8-7) results in the UFC so far. After losing ko in the first set by Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris in 2019, he has won two straight in 2020, bringing down Maurice Greene in the second set to a point-out victory over Fabricio Werdum. Unfortunately, he recently suffered a career 3-game losing streak, losing by Derrick Lewis in the second TKO, Chris Daukaus in the first TKO, and just lost to Sergey Spivak in June last year.

The headline tournament was the UFC Featherweight Championship Tournament, with current champion Alexander Wochanovsky (23-1, 11 K, 3 S) against challenger "Korean Zombie" Jeong Eun (17-6, 6 K, 8 S). The joint home event was a UFC welterweight champion, with current champion Algameen Sterling (20-3, 2 K, 8 S) playing a second-time tie against interim champion Peter Yan (16-2, 7 K, 1 S).

The other three home games are: Gilbert Burns (20-4, 6 K, 8 S) against unbeaten rising star Kanzat Chimayev (10-0, 6 K, 4 S). Jiu-Jitsu queen Mackenzie Dunn (11-2, 0 K, 7 S) against Tesia Torres (13-5, 1 K, 1 S). Kelvin Gastrum (16-8, 6 K, 4 S, 1 N) against South African rookie Dereks du Precise (16-2, 7 K, 9 S).

Also in the vice-division lineup were Aspen Ladd (9-2, 6 K, 1 S) against Raquel Pennington (13-8, 1 K, 4 S). Suriname kickboxer Jajzinho Rosenstruk (12-3, 11 K, 0 S) against Polish masin Dibra (22-7, 9 K, 6 S). Danish wrestling champion unbeaten marc Madsen (11-0, 3 K, 3 S) against American veteran Wink Pitchell (14-2, 8 K, 0 S).
