Tencent takes a stake in "Killing Squad" developer Novarama, which is working on a new MMO

On March 31, Tencent acquired a stake in Spanish game studio Novarama, but did not disclose the size of its investment. Headquartered in Barcelona, Novarama is currently working on a new, unpublished multi-platform MMO game.

"Newton said that to see farther, you have to stand on the shoulders of giants." "Partnering with Tencent, the world's leading online game publisher, opens up a vast world of possibilities for us. Today is not only a good day for us, but also for the entire Spanish development community. Thank you to everyone on this journey. I can't wait to share what we're doing," said Dani Sanchez-Crespo, CEO of Novarama.

Killing Squad is a thrilling multiplayer action game that combines twin-stick shooting and slashing enemies, and each character has a unique customization project and upgrade process. Choose from solo battles or team up to four friends to visit five cosmic planets and fight to kill enemies in 30+ contracts.
