The concept art designer RZanchetin of "Exploring the Sunken City" showed us the design manuscript and mental journey of the new version of the important character, and from the manuscript we can see from the manuscript shown that in the early design of Ambassador Feilin, he was a very classic son of the night, the body shape of a lean old man, when underwater, his cloak would change into the shape of a manta ray, and he designed two ideas for Ambassador Fei lin's underwater breathing, one was the magic rune at the nose. The other is the head that generates magical bubbles like an oxygen mask.
However, with the change of design ideas, the above part of the design has been gradually modified, and finally became the fat "Thanos" shape that everyone now calls, but now it is also quite cute, and it is very in line with the image of the kind ambassador, as the protagonist of the new version is also easier to please everyone.
In the final design, ambassador Feilin's arcane cloak will become larger in underwater form and become a whale shape to envelop him, while the first two underwater breathing options are also retained, while the face also adds a lot of arcane face patterns, and underwater ambassador Fei lin will form arcane fins at the wrist to help him swim better. It can be seen that Ambassador Fei Lin is a mage who is very proficient in arcane magic, and the single-player adventure deck is expected to consist of a large number of arcane spells.
Inie Gillette
Ambassador Feirin could not face the sea alone, so he paid a great deal of money to hire a brilliant mechanical engineer: Ini Jilei (the original painting has not yet been found, so it can only be replaced by cards, by the way, Ini Jilei should not be a member of the Explorers Association), Ini Jilei is a mechanical dwarf, a race that has transformed a part of its body into a machine in order to reverse the curse of flesh and blood, looking for a balance between flesh and machine. Ini Jilei has a high talent for mechanical engineering, and the submarine in the trailer is the submarine that the protagonists ride in. And Inie Gillet's personality is very similar to Guf's, and it seems inevitable to run into a disaster under the seabed.
Ini Jilei's weapon is a screwdriver-like tool that is not only magical, but also a perfect repair tool, her feet are transformed into fin-like shapes to facilitate underwater movement, and his helmet is designed to be shaped like a shell (which looks like a sphinx from the front) and can produce oxygen masks. RZanchetin tweeted that Inie Jilei was positioned as a fashionable mechanical dwarf who was a big fan of mermaids, but became more and more like a lobster during the design process, especially the short skirt of the mecha in the underwater form stretched out like a lobster.
In early design manuscripts, Ini's head design and now vary greatly, the shell design is not yet obvious, and an older diving cap is worn, which looks a bit like a tidal hunter's torrent mask ornament. Probably because this shape can not show the face, it is still changed to an oxygen mask.
Guide sir Finley in the sea
In addition to Ini Jilei, Ambassador Feirin also hired Sir Finley Mughton from the Explorers Association as an underwater guide, which is the version of the Solo Adventure of the Finley Farewell Association, in fact, the previous exploration of Angelo was only elise Star-by-Star, so will there be a version of CopperBeard or Renault's solo adventure in the future?
In fact, in Sir Finley's new design, the most eye-catching thing is his new goggles, after all, as a fishman, diving actually needs a snorkel! In fact, according to the description on the manuscript, Finley's newly replaced coral goggles, spit bubbles can wrap the found treasure to float to the submarine, while also exhaling oxygen bubbles to let teammates breathe, that is to say, this Finley also has a temporary oxygen tank (laughs). Finley's backpack bears the logos of the Explorers Guild, Audam and the Dragon Descending three expansion packs, representing the three adventures he has been involved in, while holding a metal detector made by Ini Jilei.
Pirate general hook teeth
In addition to Finley, the new version has an old friend waiting for us, that is, Captain Hooktooth, who is the only original character of Hearthstone in Rastaha's Great Brawl, and later added Tavern Wargame, which has always been a very powerful hero, and also created the high popularity of Hooktooth, and later assisted the tribal mercenaries to cross the sea to Stormwind City in the Book of Mercenaries. This time, Hooktooth is also coming to hearthstone expansion pack again, but Captain Hooktooth may appear as a "villain" this time, which will be an obstacle to Ferin's return to his hometown.
As for why the hook teeth came to this expansion pack? Then we have to mention the theme of Rastaha's great brawl, Captain Hook tooth is a troll tribe warrior who believes in the shark god Grol, the shark god Grol was once the overlord of the sea, the creatures in the sea are dominated by him, and he knows the little secret of Isara and Enzos, so Isara's Naga army destroyed his temple at the bottom of the sea and slaughtered his followers, Grohr was very angry, he and the foot man fought naga in the broken temple, and finally he put down his harsh words, When the time comes, he will seek revenge on Isara. This is the reason why Captain Hooktooth appears in the new version, Hooktooth, as a warrior who believes in the god of sharks, will obviously not have good intentions this time, it should be to take revenge, but Hearthstone's story has always been very family-friendly, I don't know what kind of plot this time will be?
As a warrior of the shark god Groer, naturally he was blessed by Groer, which allowed Hook tooth and his crew to gain the ability to breathe underwater, the head would form a shark dorsal fin, the arm would also have a shark pattern, the hook tooth's larger size could carry a larger cannon, and it also had sharp fangs like a shark and the classic eye scars of pirates. In addition, the new shape of the hook teeth also has a thick braid like a mermaid's tail at the end, and I don't know if the concept designer put Ini Jilei's regret here.
It can be seen that Hearthstone's art team is still very attentive to the new version of the character development, and many of the card art in the new version are very good. I don't know how good the quality and experience of the new version of the card is, if it is as bad as Storm city, it is recommended that the designers kowtow to the art team!
