According to the introduction, the prototype is equipped with a series of new features, including many new hardware features and breakthrough technologies directly embedded in the lens - advancing its display, communication, eye tracking and power systems, as well as the company's first construction of the underlying operating system code and user experience (UX) components. Mojo Vision also noted that the prototype incorporates a range of industry-first features, including the world's smallest and densest dynamic display, low-latency communication capabilities, and an eye-activated user interface.

It is understood that the prototype is built around a 0.5 mm Micro LED display with a staggering density of 14,000 pixels per inch, with text superimposed highlighted by tiny optics while data is transmitted back and forth through the 5GHz band. All of this is powered by an ARM Core M0 processor. There is an eye-tracking system on board that uses readings from accelerators, gyroscopes and magnetometers to determine the wearer's eye movements, which in turn forms the basis of the system's hands-free control.

Mike Wiemer, CTO and co-founder of Mojo Vision, said: "Mojo has created advanced underlying technologies and systems that were previously impossible to achieve. While innovating new features in the lens is a tough job, we've managed to integrate it into an integrated system that's so small, which is a major achievement in interdisciplinary product development,"

At the same time, the company said Mojo Vision aims to accelerate the development of stealth computing with Mojo Lens, a next-generation computing technology based on which users can quickly browse information on demand without having to routinely look down at the screen.
