Rules of the Literary Talk Show Contest

Special Note: Participants of this promotion (hereinafter referred to as "you") please be sure to read all the terms of this rule, your participation in this activity (including but not limited to: filling in information, submitting works, receiving rewards, etc.) is deemed to have read and agreed to all the contents of this rule.

1. Introduction to the activities

On World Book Day, you are invited to participate in the 2022 Literary Talk Show Contest jointly organized by Tencent News, Harvest Literature Magazine and Shanlu Yinghua (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), to do literary experiments in the form of talk shows, combine new things with deep literary creations, use literature to broaden the boundaries of talk shows, use talk shows to convey the interest of literature, explore new forms, stimulate new thinking, and create new value.

2. Activity time

(2) Re-selection time: April 11, 2022 to April 13, 2022, the specific time is subject to the notice of the organizer, please refer to Article 4 for details of the notice

(3) Final time: April 17, 2022, the specific time is subject to the notice of the organizer, please refer to Article 4 for details of the notice

(4) Broadcast time: April 23, 2022, the specific time is subject to the actual broadcast

3. Qualifications of participants in the activity

The participant of this activity (hereinafter referred to as " you " ) shall be a natural person with full capacity for civil conduct, have become a user of the Tencent Content Open Platform and hold an account of the Tencent Content Open Platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Account"), and before and during the start of the Activity, your registered account is in a continuous and valid state, and there is no suspension, silence, warning, etc. If you register multiple accounts, you can only participate in this promotion with one valid account. Otherwise, the Event Organizer reserves the right to disqualify you, qualify for the Prize, or withdraw the Prize that has been awarded to you. You must ensure that the personal information you provide is true, accurate and valid. Otherwise, all of your participation will be deemed void and you will not be entitled to any rewards, and the event organizers will have the right to recover the rewards that have been issued.

4. Participation in activities

1. Primary Selection:

Posting method

During the submission time, you log on to the Tencent News Creation Service Platform (shizi.qq.com) and publish the content, after successfully publishing the content, you need to add the WeChat of the event host "Mei Shi Tian", weChat ID is: MEISETIAN. Please note "Literary Talk Show Submission" when adding "Mei Shi Sweet" as a WeChat friend, and after the success of adding WeChat, send the link to the literary talk show content published by you on the Tencent News Creation Service Platform (shizi.qq.com) and the relevant materials required by "Mei Shi Sweet", and after successful sending, it will be regarded as your successful registration.

If you do not add the event host "Mei Shi Tian" WeChat after successfully publishing the content, or if you add the "Mei Shi Tian" WeChat but do not effectively send the link to the content you posted and the relevant materials required by "Mei Shi Tian" to the WeChat, the organizer will not be able to obtain the content you posted, and the content you publish will not be able to participate in the competition.

Preliminary selection

Talk show speeches or videos will be judged by the Literary Review Talk Show Jury Panel (the "Panel of Judges"). A panel of judges will select thirty contestants to participate in the re-election.

On April 11, 2022, the organizer will publish the list of shortlisted candidates for the re-examination on the Official Account named "Chinese Good Book", "Harvest" and "Plum Astringent Sweetness" on the Tencent News Client, and the final result shall be subject to the actual announcement. If you are shortlisted, you agree to authorize sponsors to use your account name and avatar when announcing the shortlist for participation in this promotion.

And "Plum Sweet" will notify the selected personnel in the form of WeChat.

2. Double-select

Check mode

Before the start of the re-examination, "Mei Shi Tian" will notify you of the specific arrangements such as the time and method of the re-election through WeChat, please pay attention to the "Mei Shi Tian" WeChat.

During the re-selection period, the members of the jury panel will interview the shortlisted contestants through video connection, and each contestant will perform a talk show performance of about 5 minutes after introducing themselves.

If you fail to attend the re-selection interview on time after being shortlisted for the re-election list, it will be deemed that you have waived your participation and selection qualifications.

Double selection

Based on the contestants' performance in the video interview, the panel of judges will select ten contestants to be finalists.

Between April 14, 2022 and April 15, 2022, the organizer will announce the list of finalists on the Tencent News Client on the official accounts named "Chinese Good Books", "Harvest" and "Mei Shi Sweet", and the final results will be subject to the actual announcement. If you are a finalist, you agree to authorize Sponsor to use your account name and avatar when announcing the shortlist for participation in this promotion.

3. Finals and broadcasts

Final mode

Before the start of the final, "Plum Sweet" will notify you of the specific arrangements such as the time, method, and place of the final through WeChat.

On April 17, 2022, the finalists will perform a literary talk show at the competition site. Players who are unable to go to the competition site due to the epidemic can choose to participate in the final by remote recording.

broadcast

On April 23, 2022, the event organizers will broadcast the live competition video of the ten contestants participating in the finals on the Tencent News webpage and the client respectively.

Final selection

Judges' Ratings:

There are a total of 5 judges in the final, each judge has 1 chance to vote for each contestant, and the judges vote once as 10 points;

Netizen Rating:

After the videos of different contestants are launched, as of 24:00 on April 26, 2022, the number of likes received by each contestant's video on the Tencent News single channel (that is, the number of likes obtained through the Tencent News APP and the Tencent News webpage, hereinafter referred to as "likes") will be used to count the online scores of the contestants.

In all the contestants' videos, based on the number of likes of the video with the highest number of likes as the base, the number of likes of different players' videos is divided by the value of the highest number of likes, multiplied by 10, to get the netizen rating of each player, that is:

Contestants' netizen score = the number of likes received by the contestant's video÷ the highest number of likes of the contestant's video ×10

Note: The video score of the player with the highest number of likes = 10, and the netizen score is calculated according to rounding, and the maximum number of decimal places is retained.

Score:

The final score of the contestants = the score of the judges + the rating of the netizens

ranking:

The top three finalists will be rated as the first, second and third place respectively.

The list of the top three personnel was finally announced on the Tencent news client under the official accounts named "Chinese Good Book", "Harvest" and "Plum Sweet", and the final result was subject to the actual announcement. If you are in the top three places, you agree to authorize the organizer to use your account name and avatar when announcing the results of the finals for your participation in this promotion.

And "Plum Sweet" will notify the winners in the form of WeChat.

5. On-site recording and confidentiality

You acknowledge and accept that if you are shortlisted and participate in the final, the event organizer will record a video of the final site, and those who have not arrived at the final site due to the epidemic will be remotely recorded, and the recorded video will be edited, post-edited and other operations. You authorize the event organizer to use your name, likeness, voice, image and other personality rights and interests during the recording process, and the event organizer owns all the intellectual property rights and ownership rights of the final video, and the event organizer has the right to edit, post-produce, etc. of the final video without obtaining your consent or confirmation, and does not need to pay you any fees.

You acknowledge and confirm that you will keep confidential the status of the final, the results of the competition, the performance of the participants, the selection of judges, the information of the guests, the address of accommodation, the location of the final, etc. until the relevant information is made public. You will not take photographs, audio recordings, videos, etc. of the finals and remote recordings in any way, and you will not defame, slander or disparage the Event and the Organizers in any way during or after the Event. Even after the final video is broadcast on the entire network, you should still be under a duty of confidentiality for the parts that are not shown in the final video. Otherwise, the organizer has the right to cancel your participation and award qualifications, and has the right to require you to compensate the organizer for all losses suffered as a result.

You understand and confirm that in the preliminary selection and re-selection process, the members of the jury panel will conduct a comprehensive selection based on the talk show speeches submitted by the contestants and the expressiveness, literaryness, humor, etc. of the content displayed in the video, video interview, and final performance, and the members of the jury panel will vote according to their personal aesthetic preferences, and you have no objection to this.

6. Submission and performance requirements

For those who submit talk show speeches in the primary selection, the content of the speech should not be less than 800 words and not more than 1200 words; for those who submit videos for talk shows, the video duration shall not be less than 4 minutes, and shall not exceed 5 minutes.

In the round-up and finals, the talk show shall not be less than 4 minutes long and shall not exceed 5 minutes.

You warrant that all of your submissions and talk show performances ("Your Entry Content") in this Promotion shall be independently created by you and will not be plagiarized, plagiarized, insulted, defamatory or otherwise. The content you post does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or the right to reputation, the right to honor, the right to privacy and other legitimate rights and interests of personality. If there is or causes any legal dispute in your Entry, you will automatically lose your eligibility to participate and you will be solely responsible for and indemnify Sponsor for any losses suffered as a result. Sponsor reserves the right to require you to provide proof of all rights associated with the Contest at any time.

The content you create should be literary-related content, including but not limited to telling or commenting on literary works, writers, literary phenomena, etc., but you should note that literary works that are the subject of narration or review must be legally published or published by Chinese mainland.

Your content must not contain any content that violates the basic principles established by the Constitution, must not contain any content that endangers national security, leaks state secrets, subverts state power, undermines national unity and political sensitivity, must not contain any content that harms national honor and interests, incites ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, undermines national unity, undermines national religious policies, promotes cults and feudal superstitions, spreads rumors, disrupts social order, undermines social stability, and must not contain any obscene, pornographic, pornographic, gambling, violence, Content that terrorizes or instigates crimes must not contain content that insults or slanders others, infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of others, or other content that violates laws, administrative regulations, policies, or other prohibited content.

Once it is found that the content you post violates the submission requirements, the organizer has the right to delete and offline the above content at any time without notice, and cancel your participation. If your entry content violates the relevant requirements of the Rules of this Campaign, causes the relevant state organs or agencies to file lawsuits, fines or take other administrative sanctions, or causes any third party to suffer damages, you shall bear full responsibility, and you shall also compensate the organizer or third party for the losses suffered as a result.

You warrant that you have the corresponding legal rights to your entry content and have the right to participate in this activity, and the event organizer has the right to use the relevant works and content according to the needs of the event, such use does not infringe the legitimate rights and interests of any third party, otherwise, some of the consequences and losses caused by it shall be borne by you.

7. Activity rewards and distribution

Event Rewards

On April 26, 2022, after the final score statistics of the finalists are completed, the winners will be announced within three days.

Winner (1 winner): Certificate, trophy, prize of RMB 10,000 (tax included)

Runner-up (1 winner): Certificate, trophy, prize of RMB 5,000 (tax included)

3rd Runner-up (1 winner): Certificate, trophy, prize OF RMB 3,000 (including tax)

How prizes are awarded

All campaign rewards will be issued within 30 working days after the end of the campaign on April 26, 2022.

8. Cancellation of participation qualifications and award qualifications

If you have any of the following acts or circumstances, the event organizer has the right to unilaterally cancel your participation qualifications, award qualifications, and the rewards you have obtained, the organizer has the right to recover:

Those who are not eligible to participate;

Providing false information;

False transactions or malicious sabotage activities;

Participate in this activity by any robot software, spider software, crawler software, prize swiping software or any other automatic means or improper means;

Plagiarism, imitation, use of unauthorized materials, etc. that infringe on the intellectual property rights of a third party;

The content of the submission or performance infringes on the third party's personality rights and interests such as the right to reputation, the right to honor, and the right to privacy;

There are any conduct that violates the principles of good faith, public order and good customs, fairness, impartiality, etc.;

Other violations of relevant laws and regulations, Tencent News and relevant agreements/rules of the Tencent Content Open Platform and these Rules.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

Special Note: Your participation in the Submission and participation in this Contest shall constitute your agreement and irrevocable grant to the Organizer and its affiliates the right to disseminate, reproduce, translate, compile and adapt the content of your participation in this campaign, including but not limited to, the right to disseminate the speeches and videos on a global, perpetual, non-exclusive information network, the right to reproduce, the right to translate, the right to compile, and the right to adapt, and the organizer and its affiliates shall not pay you any fees. Sponsor and its affiliates have the right to use and disseminate your Entry Content for profit or non-profit on all platforms or products operated, operated or cooperated with other parties (including but not limited to Tencent Watch, Tencent Video, Tencent News, WeChat, QQ Space, Tencent Content Open Platform and other platforms or products), and Organizer and its affiliates are not required to pay you any fees.

10. Tax liability

The organizer will fulfill the obligation of withholding and payment of personal income tax and other related taxes and fees in accordance with the law. You agree that the Identification Information obtained by the Event Sponsor from you will be used in accordance with the law for tax filing and to cooperate with the Tax Office's request for such additional information as may be required, if applicable. You confirm that the amount of your paid-up bonus is the remaining amount of the agreed bonus amount minus the personal income tax and other applicable taxes (if any) withheld and paid by the organizer for you.

11. Disclaimer

In view of the many uncertainties on the Internet, you understand and agree that if there is an abnormal situation or difficulty in continuing this activity due to non-sponsoring reasons such as force majeure, network, communication line failure, large-scale computer paralysis and large-scale cheating in the activity, the organizer has the right to take measures including but not limited to eliminating abnormal situations through various means or adjusting, suspending, canceling this activity, etc., so that the organizer does not assume any responsibility for your losses.

You should pay attention to the time stipulation of these rules, if you do not participate in the activity or receive the prize within the time specified in this rule due to non-sponsoring reasons, it will be deemed that you give up participating in the activity or give up the prize, and all losses will be borne by you, and the organizer will not give you any form of compensation or compensation.

Authenticity of information provided: You shall truthfully provide your information in accordance with the requirements of the event organizer, such as due to the untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, invalid or illegal information you provide, etc., resulting in your qualifications being cancelled, the prize can not be issued or issued incorrectly, etc., you are responsible for all the consequences, you have no right to claim any rights to the event organizer.

12. Governing Provisions

The establishment, entry into force, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Mainland of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of laws).

If a dispute arises due to matters related to the interpretation of the rules and the development of the activity related to this activity, you agree to settle it through friendly consultation with the event organizer, and if the consultation fails, you and the event organizer agree to submit the dispute to the People's Court of Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, where these rules are signed, for litigation resolution.
