Damage calculations in StarCraft Generation

StarCraft generation as a very classic game, until now everyone still likes to play on the major battle platforms, of course, the current star one is almost everyone played into a tower defense RPG, play a few after work, especially interesting.

So, when playing Star One, the damage is not the simple [attack power - defense power] you think, but there are many settings, how much do you know?

Damage calculations in StarCraft Generation

First, about the type of attack

There are three types of attacks, namely Normal Attack, Shock Attack, and Splash Attack.

Second, about the unit volume

There are also three types, small volume, medium volume, and large volume

Third, the relationship between attack type and volume

Damage calculations in StarCraft Generation

It can be seen that normal attacks are an effect on any volume, and shocks and explosions are not.

For example, if a unit attack is an explosive attack with 20 attack damage, then his attack on a small unit with 0 defense will only deal 10 damage. Damage is calculated by deducting defense and then calculating the proportion. According to the calculation of the example just now, if the defense of the small unit is 5 points, then the final damage is (20-5) * 50% = 7.5 points (the system will set the first attack to lose 7 points, the second time to drop 8 points)

Fourth, the attack method and volume of the three major races

Combining the calculation between the previous attack method and volume, it can be known that the ghost with an attack power of 10 points has only 25% damage when attacking a large-volume unit, and the Dragon Knight has only 50% damage to a small-sized dragon...

It should be noted that the percentage of attack style and volume does not apply to the Shield of the God Clan, and the illusion (Lightning Soldier Copy), the Shield of the God Clan takes any damage, which must be 100%. So the size of the Archon of Light doesn't make any sense, because the shield value of 350 is 100% of any type of damage...

5. Sputtering attacks

As the name suggests, when attacking, it will cause splash damage to the unit next to it, and the form of splash damage varies.

Splash damage classes are as follows:

Sixth, double attack

Two consecutive attacks.

The attack power of this attack on the panel is the sum of the two attacks, but it is actually "two attacks at a very fast speed", which requires the calculation of the defense power of the two opposing parties.

Only three classes are double attacks:

Cult Fanatics, with an attack power of 8+8 and 11+11 at level 3, need to deduct the opponent's defense power twice for each attack;

The reconnaissance aircraft of the God Clan has an air attack power of 14+14 and a level 3: 17+17, and each attack needs to deduct the opponent's defense power twice, and the volume ratio needs to be calculated;

Terran robots, air attack power of 10 +10, level three is 16 +16, each attack needs to deduct the opponent's defense power twice, need to calculate the volume ratio;

7. Special magic attacks

Lightning Storm (T) of the Templars of Light, fixed damage 117 points, not affected by defense;

The Dark Archon's feedback (F), the opponent is damaged by the mana currently owned, and the mana value returns to 0, which is affected by defense, and can only be released to the class with mana;

The Radiation (I) of the Technology Ball, the opponent takes 250 damage continuously, affects the surrounding troops, is not affected by defense, and the mechanical unit takes 0 damage. (All Terran infantry, God Clan Fanatics, Light/Dark Templars, Zerg troops are biological units, and the rest are mechanical units.) SCVs, which are both biological and mechanical units, are affected);

The Cruiser's Yamato Gun (Y), which takes 250 damage to the opponent, is affected by defense and can be released on buildings;

The Queen's Split (B), a one-hit kill to ground units, cannot be unleashed on the Golden Beetle or the Light/Dark Archons.
