According to China Weather, it is expected that two streams of cold air will affect the mainland on March 24-25 and 25-27, when the temperature in most parts of the country will drop by 4 to 6 °C, and the local cooling will exceed 10 °C. Affected by cold air, there will be strong winds, sand, rain and snow in the north, and large-scale precipitation in the south, and the temperature will fluctuate.
For the north, the northwest, north China, Huanghuai, and northeast china will usher in rain and snow weather. On the 26th, the rain and snow in the north quickly stopped, and the weather turned sunny. From the night of March 24 to the day of March 25, there were sand or dust storms in parts of eastern Xinjiang and the southern Xinjiang Basin, northwestern Qinghai, central and western Inner Mongolia, northern Gansu, Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin and other places, of which there were local sandstorms in the northernmost part of central Inner Mongolia.
For the south, from 20:00 on March 24 to 20:00 on March 25, there was heavy rain in eastern and southern Hubei, northeastern Hunan, north-central Jiangxi, south-central Anhui, most of Zhejiang, northwestern Fujian, central Guangdong, northern and western Jiangsu, and eastern Shandong, among which there were heavy rains in parts of northern Jiangxi, southeastern Hubei, southern Anhui, and western Zhejiang. Some of the above areas are accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation, local thunderstorms, high winds or hail.
