Combined with the exposed pictures of the real car, the new Tang EV uses the latest design language of the family, so that it can be identified at a glance that this is a pure electric model. The lower part of the front face adopts a new shape, and the through-type silver trim strips extend to the air intakes on both sides, increasing the sense of layering while effectively extending the lateral width of the body.
The styling on the side of the body continues the design of the current model, and the still blackened C-pillar design creates a visual effect of the suspended roof. The through-the taillights remain, but the rear bracketing style has been adjusted. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4900/1950/1725mm, and a wheelbase of 2820mm.
It is reported that in addition to providing a seven-seat model, the new BYD Tang EV also provides a "2+2+2" layout form with a total of six seats, in addition to ensuring the comfort of the first row, the second row is also equipped with independent electric seats, which can support multi-directional adjustment, ventilation and heating massage and other functions.
In terms of power, the new Tang EV will launch three versions of the model, of which the high-performance version is equipped with a dual motor with a maximum power of 180kW + 200kW, and the official zero hundred acceleration time is 4.4 seconds; the other two models are equipped with a single-motor version with a maximum power of 180kW.
In the endurance part, the new car will be equipped with BYD blade batteries, of which the single-motor long-endurance version has a range of 730km (CLTC), while the two-motor four-wheel drive version with the main performance has a range of 635km (CLTC), and a two-wheel drive version with a slightly smaller battery can also reach a range of 600km (CLTC).
