The main problem with the former is that the front trunk latch assembly may be misaligned, preventing the sub-hood latch from meshing, and these vehicles do not meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard No. 113 "Hood latch system". The problem with the Model 3 is that the rearview camera harness may not be properly assembled and will be damaged by the opening and closing of the trunk cover, making the car's rearview camera image unable to display. Rearview photography is a more commonly used function of cars, if it is damaged, then the owner really sucks to use it! Tesla needs to inspect all affected models and, if it is determined that there is a problem, install a rail protector and a new wiring harness.

In February, Tesla has launched three recalls in the United States, involving more than 1.4 million vehicles. Looking at the recalls in recent years, Tesla mainly has the possibility of misoperation of the active cruise system, the front trunk cover may suddenly open during driving, the center display software function failure, and the front and rear steering knuckle strength may be insufficient. It can be seen that from the inside out, from hardware to software, Tesla has almost recalled it over and over again. The endless quality problems are the sequelae of Tesla's efforts to increase production capacity at the expense of breaking through the lower limit of automobile manufacturing.
