Recently, the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration issued a notice on the removal of 16 APP that infringe on the rights and interests of users, which involves Leju buying a house, e-bag washing, Andke reading, etc.
The notice said that on February 25, the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration had publicly notified 65 APP that infringed on the rights and interests of users, and as of the time limit specified in the notification, after verification and re-inspection, 16 APPS had not completed rectification as required. In the list of 16 apps recently announced, Leju house buying, package learning, Daoke reading, e-bag washing, invoice king, etc. were all notified and removed from the shelves for illegal collection of personal information.
In order to seriously deal with the violations of the above-mentioned APP, the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration notified the main application stores in Beijing to remove them from the shelves, and reported to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to remove the shelves nationwide. Relevant app stores are required to immediately organize the removal of the APP in the list, carefully check the APP developers and operators with repeated problems, strictly implement the main responsibility of the distribution platform, and review the shelves.
In the next step, the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration will continue to track the notification APP, strictly handle it in accordance with laws and regulations, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of APP users.
