GT Racing 7 has become the lowest-rated Sony game for M station users

GT Racing 7 has become the lowest-rated Sony game for Metacritic users to date.

As of press time, GT Racing 7 has a user rating of 3.5 for the PS4 version, but the PS5 version has a user rating of only 2.4, making it the lowest rating of any game ever released by PlayStation Studios, SIE, SCEA, SCEE, and SCJ in the 27 years since Metacritic was founded.

GT Racing 7 has broken the lower limit previously held by the PS4 version of Warrior World (2.9 points), the PSP version of NBA 10: Deep Race (3.0 points) and the PSOne version (Extreme Skateboarding 2001 (3.3 points), setting the worst rating. And there were very few user reviews of these works before, while the PS5 version of GT Racing 7 has more than 4,000 people participating in the scoring.

However, despite the user rating falling to 2.4, GT Racing 7 has a media score of 87.

A large number of bad reviews of GT Racing 7 mainly emerged after March 17, and the new patch of developer Polyphony Digital has been controversial, reducing the prize money of many events, making it more difficult for players to buy vehicles through normal game channels, and if you want to drive a good car, you can only buy it through micro-transactions.

Subsequently, the server of GT Racing 7 was offline for more than 24 hours, leaving this fully connected game in a state of complete inability to play.

Even before the patch was adjusted, GT Racing 7's vehicles were more than eight times more expensive than their predecessors. Now, according to player analysis, if you want to buy any one of the most expensive models in the game without microtransactions, you need to swipe a bonus of nearly 20 hours, which is very difficult to accept for a game that costs $70.
