Sample condition

The samples of this comparative test were randomly purchased by the staff of the Ningbo Consumer Protection Commission as ordinary consumers in the live broadcast rooms such as Douyin, JD.com, Tmall, etc., with a total of 20 samples, 10 nozzles and 10 showers, involving 10 brands, and the purchase price ranged from 29-799 yuan.

Test the project

Nozzle samples: appearance quality, pipe thread accuracy, hot and cold water signs, water pressure mechanical properties, sealing performance, flow, anti-installation load test, coating adhesion strength test, plastic matrix plating strength test, surface corrosion resistance test 10 aspects were tested and compared

Shower: Appearance quality, pipe thread accuracy, safety performance, resistance to rapid cold and heat, corrosion resistance, sealing performance, mechanical strength, flow, overall tensile performance, temperature drop, handheld shower anti-siphon performance 11 aspects were tested and compared

Performance (Nozzle)

Flow rate is an important indicator that reflects whether the nozzle saves water and meets the normal use, and the standard requirements are 3.0 L/min ~9.0 L/min. The flow is large and wastes water resources; the flow is small, which affects normal use. The average flow rate of the 10 nozzles is 4.3 L/min.

The 10 types of water nozzles purchased this time are all basin nozzles, and the scenes that are used more daily are washing hands, washing faces, washing hair, etc.

Judging from the test results, the flow of most brands such as Hansgrohe, Wrigley, TOTO, GROHE, EMEC, Hengjie and so on is controlled between 3 and 4L/min, which not only meets the daily water demand, but also saves water.

Performance (shower)

Under the condition of meeting normal use, water saving, temperature drop, and use experience are the main factors affecting the flow setting of shower products. Under the same conditions, the flow value is from high to low, and the shower is more water-saving, but the flow rate slows down, the temperature drop increases, and the use experience changes from poor to better and slowly worse. On the contrary, the flow value from low to high, the less water saving, but the flow rate is accelerated, the temperature drop is reduced, and the use of the feeling becomes better and slowly worse, so the flow value of different showers is set more similarly.

According to the test results, the temperature reduction range of the 10 showers is 1.2 ~ 2.2 °C, the average value is 1.53 °C, and the standard requirements are ≤3 °C. The main factor affecting the temperature drop value is the flow rate after the shower water, the lower the temperature drop value under the same conditions, the better, rather than the different designs of the showers between brands, even if the flow rate is the same, there are differences in the flow rate.

The 10 batches of nozzles and 10 batches of shower samples purchased this time can meet the requirements of the standards involved after the testing of the above items, and the overall quality is relatively good. In particular, "pipe thread accuracy", "safety performance", "resistance to rapid cold and heat", sealing performance and other items, can directly reflect the quality requirements of nozzles and showers.

Consumption tips

1.
