As one of the contemporary representatives of the New Jinling School, Mr. Zhou Jingxin is unique in the inheritance and innovation of pen and ink, which can be called a contemporary person. In this series of fighters, he used thick and flexible brush and ink to convey the image of the heroes of the Eighth Route Army, the New Fourth Army and the militia during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The last painting in the series depicts the father of Mr. Zhou Jingxin, who served as the commander of the Tonghai Independent Battalion of the Sixth Sub-district of the New Fourth Army during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
