Recently, Dongfeng Honda e:NS1 officially opened pre-sale, launched the e-type version (CLTC endurance 420km) and e-dynamic version (CLTC 510km), the pre-sale range of 180,000-210,000 yuan. Based on Honda's newly developed e:N Architecture F platform, the new car is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV and is expected to be available in April.
Honda's electrification transformation strategy was proposed earlier and more aggressively, after announcing that 40% of its full-year sales in 2030 will be electric vehicles (including EV/FCV), which will double to 80% in 2035 in five years, and will only provide pure electric models by 2040, and one of the vanguards of completing this grand plan is Dongfeng Honda e:NS1.
As the first products in the "e:N" series, they showcase Honda's latest technological achievements in the field of electric vehicles, all from the newly developed e:Architecture F platform (FWD front-drive platform) in the newly developed e:Architecture architecture. The shape of the two cars is quite futuristic, and equipped with an exclusive logo symbolizing new energy, while adding "Heart beat heart-beating interactive lamp language" to the headlight function, in the charging process with a variety of lamp expressions allow users to see the charging status at a glance. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4390mm/ 1790mm/ 1560mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2610mm.
The interior of the car is to play the sense of science and technology to the extreme, of which the 15.2-inch central control screen, 10.25-inch LCD instrument composed of digital cockpit is the biggest highlight. Honda's unique Honda CONNCET 3.0 is also applied, and a dedicated version of pure electric vehicles is set up, which integrates more than 20 functions such as natural and smooth AI voice assistant, car home interconnection, energy management, and OTA online upgrade. In terms of active safety functions, Honda also equipped it with the DMC driver state perception system for the first time, which can effectively identify the driver's state, and even detect emotional changes, actively remind, and make the driving experience smarter and safer.
In terms of power, the new car adopts the front motor layout, and the official provides two power options, the maximum power of the e-moving motor is 150kW, the maximum torque is 310Nm, and the cruising range is 510km under CLTC conditions; the maximum power of the e-type motor is 134kW, and the cruising range under CLTC conditions is 420km. The battery pack comes from the ternary lithium battery provided by CATL, with a battery capacity of 68.8kWh.
