While BioWare's next game is the new Dragon Age series, they are also working on the Mass Effect series. Although it is currently in the early stages of development, BioWare is still working quietly, and of course the staff responsible for recruitment is the same.
BioWare recently recruited Michael Tucker, a well-known Youtube content creator, to the Mass Effect development team. Tucker is also a screenwriter, represented by his YouTube videos Story Mode and Lessons from the Screenplay.
What role Tucker will play on the Mass Effect team is unclear, but given his status as a screenwriter, he may be involved in the plot. The new Mass Effect game is currently under development using Unreal Engine 5 instead of DICE's Frost Engine.
