Le10Sport reported that both Arsenal and Liverpool wanted to take advantage of the growing tensions between David and Lille.

The Gunners made it his number one target in the summer window, but Liverpool also had a crush on him.

Defensa Central recently reported that Arsenal are currently leading the race to pursue David, but Real Madrid are also one of the striker's options.

The same report said Arsenal are expected to bring in the 22-year-old striker in full force in the summer window.

Like Le10Sport and Defensa Central, Calciomercato has also reported arsenal leading the way in negotiations with the young striker and Lille is willing to sell it.

David has made 36 appearances so far this season, scoring 17 goals.

According to Italian media reports, Fiorentina still tried to sign Torreira at a lower price.

In reports from Labaro Viola and Firenze Viola on Wednesday and Thursday, La Nazione said Fiorentina was seeking to complete Torreira's permanent transfer at a discounted price.

We all know that Torreira's loan contract has a €15 million buyout clause, but Purple Lily wants to negotiate with Arsenal to lower the price.

La Nazione said the next month or so will be conclusive, admitting Arsenal will struggle to accept lower prices.

This is not the first time that Italian media have reported that Florence has tried to complete the deal for less than 15 million euros. TMW reported the same information in November.

But the situation has not changed much in the nearly four months since. Torreira is still a regular starter, still popular with the fans, and Fiorentina still needs him.

At a price point of €15 million, Arsenal should be able to find buyers, whether it's Florence or not. As a result, the Purple Lilies can only activate the buyout clause, or bet on the Summer Window without other teams submitting offers.
