Finding the gun has become the top priority of Arsenal's summer window, the five gods of Europe are waiting to be contacted, who are you optimistic about signing?

Arsenal's first transfer task this summer will be to acquire a new centre-forward. Ahead of the 2022-23 season, the Gunners are likely to have a whole new offensive line, with Aubameyang heading to Barcelona in the January transfer window, while Lacazette and Nketiah's contract expires in June. Arsenal desperately tried to sign a striker in January, with Vlahovic the most promising player to sign. However, the Serbian was bent on moving to Juventus. So they can only look at this summer. Here are five strikers they will focus on in the summer window market.

Darwin-Nunez (Benfica)

While many Spaniards and Portugals already knew everything about Darwin Núñez long before the season, the Uruguayan striker became the brightest star in European football in Benfica's 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona. He has performed well in Benfica this season, scoring 25 goals in all competitions. Unfortunately for Arsenal, there could be a lot of people pursuing Núñez this summer, so they need to get involved in a bidding war. Barca had also been interested in him before.

Calvert Lewin (Everton)

Everton's Calvert Lewin didn't show his best form in 2021-22, with injuries being part of the reason, but Arsenal remain interested. The Gunners were first linked to the England international last summer, but the transfer did not materialize. Months on, speculation remains about a potential deal, Everton are currently in relegation and whether they succeed or not, Calvert Lewin may want to bring his talent to a better club.

Jonathan David (Lille)

Jonathan David is enjoying the best season of his career so far. It took Osmayne's successor in Lille a while to adjust to life in northern France for the team, but now he has found his best form. David, who is currently in the top three of Ligue 1's top scorers list, dominates Lille's attack, despite the team's poor performances this season, and he is also the main reason why the team still has hopes of reaching the top four. It won't be easy to poach him from Lille, especially since Liverpool is reportedly interested in him as well.

Isaac (Real Sociedad)

He shines on the international stage when Euro 2020 comes into focus, and if Arsenal give him a chance in the summer, Isaac could do just that in England. The Swedish striker has come out of his grueling experience at Borussia Dortmund and found his rhythm at Real Sociedad. His 17 goals in the league last year certainly caught the attention and while he hasn't reached that high this year, with just four goals in La Liga, he's sure to get back in form at the Emirates Stadium.

Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan)

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is currently one of the most watched stars in European football. The Argentine formed a formidable strike-up combination with Romelu Lukaku last season and has played very well as a central figure on the inter attacking end after the Belgian left. Over the past year, he has been linked to every elite club in Europe, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool. His outstanding goal against Liverpool in the Champions League will only strengthen the Reds' interest in him. Also, if Arsenal don't play in the Champions League, they're also unlikely to sign him.
