Yesterday (March 11) afternoon, the second phase of the training for shunde district government officials to enhance aesthetic appreciation ability was held at the district museum. The event invited Li Zhen, associate professor of the School of Urban Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, to give a keynote lecture on urban construction, helping cadres to improve their aesthetic judgment and better promote urban construction.
Li Zhen brought a lecture on the theme of "AUD - Art-oriented Urban Design Practice" to the relevant personnel of various departments and towns and streets of the district.
He believes that in recent years, China's urbanization rate has become faster and faster, of which the environment, humanities, history, etc., are important factors to measure the quality of urban development. Practice in many places at home and abroad has proved that art-oriented design plays a huge role in promoting urban construction and enhancing urban attractiveness. Li Zhen specifically mentioned that the art design installation of the central axis of Beijing Daxing Airport was designed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and processed and manufactured by Shunde enterprises. To jump out of the misunderstanding of "one side of a thousand cities", Shunde can make use of the cultural advantages of the world's gastronomy capital, water village culture, ancestral hall culture and other cultural advantages, and make good use of these elements in urban construction.

Zhou Wenbiao, deputy director of the Ronggui Street Publicity, Culture, Sports and Tourism Office, believes that especially in terms of cultural transformation, it is possible to use some humanistic connotations to make the whole area a livable and attractive practice, which is very helpful for future work and broadens the horizon.
This year, Shunde will hold 8 to 10 series of training activities for cadres of district organs to enhance their aesthetic appreciation ability, adopt a combination of research and teaching and transformation of achievements, and invite well-known domestic artists, professors of professional colleges and universities, architectural design masters and other field visits and research, and set up special lectures.
He Hongjia, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Shunde District Party Committee and chairman of the District Federation of Literary and Art Circles, said that he hopes to continuously improve the aesthetic appreciation ability of government cadres through study, promote the cadres of the organs to "use first-class aesthetic power and appreciation to carefully craft the city as a work of art", and at the same time drive the whole society to have a higher level of cognition and examination of the beauty of Shunde's urban art design.
