Recently, we obtained the official map of the new Hongqi H5 from the official channel, and the new car basically continues the familial design of the Hongqi in the appearance part, which looks more similar to the Hongqi H9 and is expected to debut at the Beijing Auto Show that opens in April.
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts Hongqi's iconic grille, but compared with the dignified face of Hongqi H9, it presents a more sporty effect. The side of the body looks more like a small Red Flag H9, and the through-waist line plus the detailing of the window trim enhances a lot of high-end feeling.
In addition, the new car is not equipped with the same hidden door handle as the H9, which makes the body side lack of smoothness. In terms of car color matching, Hongqi H5 will launch aurora blue, charm night black, bright night brown, red flag red, quantum silver gray, alpine screen white and other colors.
The rear part of the car uses a through-type arrow feather taillight with a chrome design, which is similar to the design of the Pentium family, and the chrome exhaust with two sides is well integrated with the lower surround.
In terms of power, the Hongqi H5 is expected to be equipped with a 2.0T engine, which is matched by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
