Xu Lin
His original name was Xu Chenglin and his pen name was Huangshi Xianweng. He is a national first-class artist, a member of Tianjin Fine Arts Association, a director of the Teacher-Student Friendship Center of the National Academy of Painting of China, and has studied in the Rongbaozhai Character Painting Studio, the Liu Dawei Character Painting Studio of Capital Normal University, and the Art College of Chinese Min University. Born in 1964 in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, his ancestral home is Xujia Village, Wendeng County, Shandong Province. The descendant of Xu Shilin, the teacher of the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, his father Xu Yuanjie was good at calligraphy and painting, and his mother Huang Shulan was good at engraving, Xu Lin was taught and influenced by his parents at an early age, and formed an indissoluble relationship with calligraphy and painting. Painting not only to work hard, but also to observe, through observation, the scenery in the heart is depicted, Xu Lin began to practice Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy at the age of three, learned to sketch at the age of eight, often went to the nearby landscape garden sketching in his childhood, and the mountains and rivers in his hometown, grass and trees, all became good materials for his creation.
